It’s basically a Disney princess song for a girl who was called to the ocean by a monster and then gained power from it ig. Idk I haven’t actually read the story for that in Arknights yet.
Arknights has some of the best world-building and themes and music ever.
Though some of the narrative parts fall flat and feel padded.

Miquella(skelly arm) had this whole deal abt curing his sister's curse(scarlet rot) but Mohg said "no, actually. You're gonna be my consort :)" and took him- so he's... entirely unresponsive which makes the whole "kissing his hand and laying with him" bit all the creepier on Mohg's part

The red in Maliketh's fight is natural, the other colors aren't. Black with red flames is supposed to be actual death essence according to lore, but you don't stay dead from his fight. Only the introduction boss of the game does anything special if you lose, where you're supposed to lose and end up in the tutorial cave. It is advised to take out the Sentinel in front of his boss door for less hassle though.
