Ryan Dunn definitely fit that Aaron Gordon archetype. Looking at his shooting form, it doesnt even look bad. Very smooth, repeatable, and stable up to the follow through. Just need more reps. His defense is really good laterally and crazy long and athletic vertically. Patient and doesnt mindlessly jump to pump fakes. Has excellent timing on blocks and can see when to help. Definitely could go first round.
I hope he's available for the Raptors at the 19th pick but suspect he'll go earlier. Genuinely think he could come in as the starting SF for them playing with IQ, RJ, Scottie, and Poeltl/Olynyk (though he fits better alongside Olynyk). You'd have him cutting on offence as a lob threat alongside 2-3 excellent playmakers and defensively it's a no-brainer. Fingers crossed.
I've been scouting him for 2 months so far his defense is the best in college good rebounder he just needs to work on his shooting, I really pray to the basketball gods that the Knicks get him I was right on McBride i' ll be right with him he just needs a full year in the G league and work on his shooting.
@@lendog4466 picking a guy with no offensive upside with their first round pick and then paying him that contract so he can play in the g league for a whole year is the most knicks shit they could they do hinestly
@@AJkunVM he just needs to work with our shooting coaches I really believe in him I can't help it I love his wing span and 6'8 height, and his athletic ability, I just can really read a good play and I know I'm right about him.
@@AJkunVMTheir first round pick will be the 25th pick in the draft anyways. Thats damn near a 2nd rounder due to how low it is. May as well take a gamble on a 6’8 wing that happens to be one of the best defenders in college basketball. McBride was a late round project player for them and he worked out fine. Same with Mitchell Robinson, Grimes, and Quickley. Knicks tend to take defensive minded players with those late picks and develop their offensive game later on. It’s worked fine so far so I expect them to continue with that trend. Wouldn’t shock me at all if they took this kid at 25.
Ryan Dunn Is Definitely A Perfect Fit For The Heat Culture, Because We Need Another Defender Like Dunn 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯
Here after knicks news 👀

you know he a wingspan/project type prospect when they don’t even post his ppg 😅
His ppg isn't that bad, his 3pt%/ft% on the other hand...
