Lara Fabian was very well trained by the best opera teachers from Belgium and Italy, but she decided to sing pop songs, she also has the knowledge to sing in operatic way, she studied from her 8 to 18 at the Belgium Conservatory of Music (there she learned Bel Canto, piano [she composes her own songs on piano)... Then since 1998 she kept having vocal lessons with her Italian teacher untill nowdays, she has two vocal teachers (From Belgium and Italy) and she keeps having vocal lessons at least 3 times per week on-line. Lara also workz as a vocal coach on The Voice Canada, she already worked as the vocal coach at the Star Academy program in France from 2004 /2008. It started a bit of a feud between these Europoean superstars, During the special you have been sampling from "From Lara with Love" She covered White Christmas. Lara is the ULTIMATE ARTIST !! she has one of the most powerful voices in history, her breath control is other-worldly, her she has near perfect diction in all languages, her phrasing is right up there with the likes of Frank Sinatra, her technique is that of a master performer and is studied by many, many singers, her tone is unbelievably warm even though powerful, and she has the unique trait of seeming to sing to each audience member individually.........she LIVES each piece and absolutely INVITES each to join her INTO the journey that the composer intended, she is not afraid to show the proper emotion on her face, even if ( God forbid ) it is an ugly face On top of all her enviable and admired qualities she remains a wonderful person. There is many, many singers out there and there is certainly one who trips each listener in a way that makes them special to that person - and Lara Fabian is that artist for me. let us not forget that she writes many of her songs and if you look at those songs without the associated music, just the words, they are very poetic. I love all her performances but may I suggest the following .........I am a wa - a video of her in a recording session which shows her search for perfection ( a " wa " is best described as an inner soul ), .....Par que du Parse ( before you leave - great guitar solo .........I guess I loved you - incredible technical and emotional experience......... - please be well

Very few artist/singers/song writer are able to go in & out of what may be called “singer normal voice” and “singer speech voice”. The American Icon “Mrs. Dolly Parton” is famous for her story telling. I am not saying Dolly can sing like Lara. I am saying both these ladies tell story’s while singing & use this technique with ease & it is easy to get caught up in the story many times. That is learned & few pull it off. Dolly with that 30 track Rock & Roll album has introduced many around the world too these all time great R&R songs to new generations. Hi Bob, you have praised this immense artist Lara so much but you have found a qualifier that suits her best. "She's in a class of her own." It is rare that artists when they sing resonate with us as Lara does. There are others, that's for sure, but they are few and she is one of them and today she continues to move us... Surtout broken vow chanson qui donne des frissons car lara est toujours à fond en terme d'émotion et les paroles sont triste.

Hello from the Netherlands my friend. Perdere L'amore is indeed heart breaking. You also mentioned Je Suis Malade . A real treat would be that very same Je Suis Malade from a concert in 2003. It has a complete different 'vibe' and I'm very sure it will leave you stunned. Another candidate would be Je T'aime from that same 2003 concert. Every single time I watch and listen I'm in tears. That might have something to do with the quite recent passing of my wife though. Go for it my friend. You're my favourite reactor!!!
