I think Hyundai builds durable and reliable cars nowadays, except for the handling, it feels a little numb. With that fixed, I think it can be very good alternative to VW.
Great review but ... .please show the rear seats folded. Most estate/wagon buyers want to know if they fold flat and is there a gap between rear floor and back of the seats. We buy estates for this space and almost no reviews show this.

Please adjust the front seat to accomodate a normal person before stating that backseat legroom is good. And do state the number of litres that the boot will hold. Dont't just say it will be good for anyone.
A bone-stock, base model i30 costs 18000 Euros. With a bit of kit, you are looking at 24000-25000 Euros. For a Hyundai?! For that sort of money, I can buy a practical 2014 Audi A4 2.0TDI, S-line, automatic with satnav, leather seats and a premium audio system, have it serviced by Audi and still have left over money. I found a 2015 Volvo V60 for 23000 Euros. 30000km on the clock, loaded with kit. Or I could buy a 2006 C55 AMG Mercedes and have a sports car for the price of a mediocre hatchback.
mohd hariri I think their plan in the UK is to make Kia the brand for people who care about style or their cars so we get the Pro Cee'd GT and some nice SUV's and a upcoming sports car. And Hyundai is a car for people who couldn't care less and want a cheap car.

Any VW group car is better and in my opinion Audi is worth paying more for whatever the car whether it's a A1 or A6 the quality is brilliant

Wish theyd fold the seats down and see what the load space is like, the video of the older model is the same, its quite important on an estate car.
