Music is a bit too loud
A Hangfire is when there is a tiny delay between pulling the trigger and ignition. "Going off half cocked" is the term that you describe.
Fine weapons indeed that you have there. Thanks for sharing.
Interesting content, but the continuous (and loud) background music was deplorable. I felt like I was placed on hold by a luxury automobile service department.
Music is too loud. It drowns out the presenters
If the music is too loud, you’re too old.
That's not what "hang fire" means. A firearm hangs fire when there is a delay in burning through to the main charge. This was the meaning both then and now. What he describes as a hangfire here is just a form of misfire, what the "fly" in the lock was designed to prevent.
MOVE TE PIANO PLAYER TO THE BACEMENT .😊
Would that I could afford a brace of Manton pistols. But I am not a wealthy individual, nor a corrupt politician, who can afford such items so I guess I will just have to dream on
The most beautiful Dueling/target pistol I've seen was a Gastinne-Renette. It had a sliding barrel that would expose the loading chamber, when the underlever was pulled down and forwards.
great video, but that music? why? it seems to have made the narrator sound as fed up of it as me.
What is the music?

Each set is beautiful but those full stock flinters are my favorite .
