I can’t tell which line I like more, the English dub’s “For victory, I render up my all” or the Japanese version of “Your demise will be our salvation”… both voice actors are too amazing!
RP after Emmet hand wave is my favorite cutscene of all time. Completelly overflows with emotions to the tears. So much passion from developers, so much titanic resolve from Soken's song.
Usually, the English version (or any other language) is an adaptation/localization more than a translation. That's why you'll usually find too many differences between the dialogues in the different languages available. Each version has its charm!
Comparing JP to ENG, Elidibus in JP has absolute contempt against the player. It's not the noble, 'I must defeat you, such is my duty' but rather 'You and I are not alike! I will strike you down!'.
@@BunAnna yeah but the whole Japanese vs sub things XD really needs to die people shouldn't demonize each other for that cause that line I AM HADES!!! in English with emet selch voice becoming deeper you literally can not tell me that was cool or hell his voice line delivery was amazing. Your going to tell me susan collaway does not sing Distant world or answers amazingly and she english speaking, or hell you can tell me that most of the English track songs don't sound great in English?
My reply hasn't been posted for some reason (it happened twice already, and I have no idea why since it doesn't go against any rules) so, here I go for the third time. My video is not comparing languages, I simply play with Japanese audio because I find it nicer. The music in the game is in English by default, and I don't think it counts as dub (there are some songs in Japanese by default though). To each their own, like I said. I'm pretty sure each available language in the game has its charm, not only English and Japanese, but the language people prefer for the cutscenes is entirely up to personal preference and that's totally fine and respectable.

I had to check on the characters he has voiced since his voice sounded very familiar to me. I think he was just perfect for this boss!

japanese audio does not do english version proud.... this fight was better in english
To each their own I guess. I really don't like the English dub. The Japanese one is my favorite. The lines have a different energy.
