I thank God for Voddie bacham because every time I hear him he leads me back to Christ.
Voddie is one of my all time favorite pastors. Im a new follower of Jesus, and most of what i watch on YT these days is Christian content. Voddie nails it every time, from what I can tell. He isnt afraid to stand on the truth, no matter who likes it or not, and for that I am grateful. His sermons have helped me so much in my growth and understanding!!

The only and i mean only thing i pray to my lord and savor for many times a day. Is this one prayer.. lord jesus i beg of you please be merciful to me a sinner. I have cryed thos tears saying it. Beating on my chest saying it. Yelled it out loud saying it. Because i know i dont deserve the life i have now i should be dead and in hell. And if that is where i end up in the end then i know my punishment is just and there nothing i can do about it. Because in the end im a sinner and i dont deserve mercy anyways. But i pray to god !!!!! 😭 That he is merciful to me a sinner because im the chief of sinners and i struggle with sin constantly. And i wish i could be perfect and never sin again but i cant and thats why i have to come back to jesus christ many times a day. And cry out lord be Merciful to me a sinner. People in this world want to know what the meaning of life is. Well here it is !!! Repent and belive the gospel because jesus christ came to this earth fully god and fully man and lived the perfect life that no one could ever live. And he took all the shame and pain and torture of all are sins. And literally bore it into this body he literally drank are sins. And then died for us so any that woyld belive in him would not parish but have eternal life with jesus christ forever. And would never have to experience hell. Thats right jesus christ literally bore in his body, you're ETERNAL HELL !!! so you wouldnt have to go there. And all he wants in return is for you to come to him and repent of your sins. Like the publican beating on his chest saying lord jesus be Merciful to me a sinner!!!! And meaning it from the heart. Its the only way to be truly saved !!! 🙏

Sometimes there's no point in continuing to pray, like when the person you're praying for dies. Sometimes you need a quick answer, because the sick person is running out of time.
God didn't need to just get Israel out of Egypt, He needed to get Egypt out of Israel.

What do you do when life is sooo bad that you just can’t even pray anymore. My heart feels so hard, I’m numb I cant even bring myself to pray or read scripture. Am I backsliding? Am I lukewarm? I just feel defeated and tired and weak.
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
-- ISAIAH 40:31
"Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD."
-- PSALM 27:14
"So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
For,
“In just a little while,
he who is coming will come
and will not delay.”
And,
“But my righteous one will live by faith.
And I take no pleasure
in the one who shrinks back.”
But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved."

You must know Truth to receive anything from God, and just because people pray does not mean they are praying as per are instructions. Man has many god's, so be wise enough to know the difference or you could simply be praying to the devil, he is a worldly god that men call upon everyday. Be careful.

4:14 - I'm sorry, but... Calvinism? [smh] One of the most divisive and controversial man-made doctrines in all of Christianity. Don't mention it and nobody cares; mention it and watch the sparks fly. It is utterly useless and, as I understand it, self-refuting. And when you start pointing this out, those who conform to it (or try to) begin to squirm and of course disavow the "hyper Calvinists" who, it seems, are only being consistent with the "doctrine" itself. But again, don't mention it and NOBODY notices! So why do the Calvinists always have to mention it-even while leaving it, as has been done here, unresolved? Well, I guess we are ALL wonky somewhere. In fact, most of my favorite preachers are Calvinists (while I have no idea who the Arminians are), but that doesn't make Calvinism true, does it? For most, it is the great difficulty folks have in explaining it that presents the problem-and then the disavowing of those who simply take it to what appears to me to be the most natural conclusion. If you're not going to make Calvinism part of the sermon-then why mention it at all?
When you take the principles of Arminianism to their logical conclusion you’ll see why so many Christians lose interest in it. It can’t stand up to a basic test of biblical logic. Calvin’s points aren’t perfect but they’re certainly more biblically accurate than Arminian’s.

And I don't take either side. Besides, when you take the principles of Calvinism to their logical conclusion... Well, even the Calvinists disavow the hyper Calvinists. And so, basically what I said above.
