i have been watching videos on Vietnam for a month for planning my trip. But your info is quite unique and refreshing and helpful and exactly the stuff I was looking for! I watched all 3 of your videos, adding Cat Ba to my itinerary, thank you so much!
love the video, the Unicorn mountain, the river, the rice fields and the mountains, and the tip about the scam drinks. The view on the countryside is so good. Thanks for sharing and filming .
Ninh Binh is such a beautiful place to visit. It’s a shame about the drink scam but it was happening 20 years ago so I guess some things don’t change. Enjoy your adventure.👍
@@clifforddang5947 As a Vietnamese, no matter how cheap it can get, I wouldn’t trust the Vietnamese with a dollar. It’s the reputation and the Vietnamese reputation has been known for cheaters, liars and thieves since the largest medical and insurance frauds committed by Vietnamese doctors in the 80’s.
Thank you! Those words mean a lot 🤗 I stayed right next to Tam Coc River, a 5 minute walk from the boat tickets area. The two temples are in Ky Lan mountain, but maybe an address is more helpful. Here it goes: 848 Trần Hưng Đạo, Tân Thành, Ninh Bình, Vietname
@@BeaMinimalista Thank you for the info! The towers look magical and I will be in Ninh Binh/ Tam Coc in Sept 2023. I extended my visit from 2 days to 3 after seeing your video. I like the tips you give, and your calm zen attitude in the video. Best of luck to you in your future travels!
You mentioned that you had to pay to park at the Bich Dong pagoda but you dont have to. There is free parking inside the entrance but there are "entrepreneurs" on the street leading up to the entrance that try to rope you in before you get that far and they take 10k-20k to watch your bike. ;)
Please share the name of the place in Ninh Binh that you visited at night? With the beautiful street light lanterns and the temple structure @1:13. Thanks
Of course! All this area is the surrounding of the two temples in Ky Lan Mountain. Around it there are little bridges illuminating the way. It's very beautiful. Maybe a location is more helpful to you: 848 Trần Hưng Đạo, Tân Thành, Ninh Bình, Vietname :)
Here some place in Vietnam would want to see and you can google image how the place look like: Phu Quoc Island, Dalat, Danag, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Ha Long Bay, The Marble Mountain, Ninh Binh, Dragon Statue Mountain in Tam Coc, Hue, and Ban Gioc waterfall.
Thank you for your suggestions! I've already crossed some of those items off my list. For the others, I can only hope to come back again to see them one day 🇻🇳🙏
So far I can only compare to Vietnam and Singapore. For sure both rank suuuper high on friendliness, even though they are very different. But Vietnam is for sure unbeatable when it comes to the beautiful scenery and cost of living.
Foreigners must have a Vietnamese drivers license to drive a moto, and also have insurance for the moto, Also, Vietnam is an extremely dangerous country to travel in and you should have your own insurance that pays IMMEDIATELY or immediate access to $5,000. You will only be received by a hospital, but no live saving care given if they do not have payment or down-payment first. Also need vaccinations for typhoid, hepatitis etc here.
I agree with you about the scam at Tam Coc , but not the parking price and the Mua Cave entrance fee . Vietnam is actually one of the cheapest tourist destinations in the world . Don't expect to get everything for free or at dirty cheap cost here . Bich Dong pagoda is already free for visiting and if you don't park your bike at an authorized spot , it could be impounded by the police .
Oh no... Didn't want to sound like that 🙈 I agree, Vietnam is the cheapest place to travel and with the big plus that it offers you a variety of beautiful landscapes, culture, food and kindness. I absolutely fell in love with every place I set foot on. I just wanted to share my experience as a traveler: I would rather have transparency about what I'm gonna pay than to be surprised. In my case, I need to convert Euros into VDN and of course that demands some planing. It's a small detail that I didn't feel in other cities in Vietnam compared to tones of highlights that I mentioned about Ninh Binh. It really was surprisingly beautiful and I would love to come back one day ✨✨

Oh no, 20 years already? That's crazy! 🙈
Thank you 🤗 Hope to see you on the next one.
i really want to watch more and more video about NINH BINH 🥺🥺🥺
It is such a magical place 🌃🪄
10000 K VND ( 0.42 $ ) for parking your bike is actually not expensive . There is no reason to complain about .
Đầu óc tư tưởng tham lam gian lận nên không ai tin tưởng được mặc dầu chỉ có 5K thôi.
Yeah, I mean can Vietnamese people make a living? How dirt cheap do foreigners expect Vietnam to be?

Name the country you have visited in Asia that you think is best for each of the following criteria: good price; friendliness and beautiful scenery

Lol, extremely dangerous country to travel ? I bet you never leave your basement up until now 😂

$50,000 Dong = $2.08 Dollars
$60,000 Dong = $2.50 Dollars
$70,000 Dong = $2.92 Dollars
$80,000 Dong = $3.33 Dollars
$90,000 Dong = $3.75 Dollars
$100,000 Dong = $4.17 Dollars
$200,000 Dong = $8.33 Dollars
