@@Ehshehhdhx yeah, the grey one is sometimes pricier than other colors. For the bracelet, I chose the Silver middle polish, 19mm. Remember to keep your original watch's end links
Wait, really? I thought this model came out around the mid to early 2000's? If it is then awesome! Had mine for almost 2 years and would love to have it for the rest of my life lol
The watch dial is beautiful but what puts me off is the watch movement which is non-hacking and non-handwinding. Coming from an engineering field, I feel that accuracy in terms of time precision is very important to me. I tend to like setting the watch's accuracy based on atomic time. However, if you ignore all other factors and you are in the market for your first automatic watch with a low budget, I wouldn't think twice. Thank you for the review. Looking forward to the next one.
"When it comes to automatic watches, there is no absolute accuracy, so hand-winding or hacking won't make any big difference. If I want to know the time with atomic accuracy, I will check out my mobile phone's clock.
This was a good honest review. I own more expensive watches such as Rolex and Tudor but I also enjoy and wear less expensive brands. It is not about how much you pay that makes a good watch, it is about how it feels for you. I have been looking at this watch for a while and thinking about either yours or the silver one. So time to make a decision! I wish you well in growing your channel and having just subscribed I look forward to future videos.
Nice review! I own the silver one which I consider the perfect, economical dress watch solution for people who rarely dress up. It also makes a perfect daily wearer if you don’t mind the meager water resistance and scratching the polished case. They are still widely available at reasonable prices in Europe. One of the best Seiko 5 IMO.
Great review. I've had mine for over a year now and it still gets wrist time alongside watches that cost over 5x as much. One of the major complaints is the thick case back, which makes the watch protrude from the wrist unnecessarily. If you can find a used, slim 7S26 case back without a window it should fit the SNXS79 and help the lugs to hug the wrist better. I did this mod and it makes the watch fit and feel better.
@@TheDing11 the SNK393 case, assuming it's the same as the SNK357, is definitely the best Seiko 5 case shape. If you can get one of those cases then the caseback swap is not needed.
