I normally only buy one color variant of HLG’s offerings but I think both of these have really good paint apps on top of a really excellent sculpt. Be ordering mine this week. Another great review.
Absolutely gorgeous figures! I am just starting out my own little collection and was thinking of starting it off with the HLG Nasutoceratops but this new release has given me pause :)
Hi Andy!! I really loved this review! Appreciate the informative commentary on the figure I always enjoy ur reviews! I have 1 question, PNSO or Haolongood? I been having trouble deciding.❤
the green paint job seems weirdly similar to an old triceratops toy i used to have, the red spots, the way the green is spread out and the patterns, i wonder if it's on purpose but i doubt it, i dont even know what brand that was if any
@@therumbleinthejungleeHaolonggood and TNG have made a very nice quetzalcoatlus Papo also made a quetzalcoatlus, a pteranodon, a tupuxuara and a dimorphodon (although it's quite rare) Safari ltd makes decent pterosaurs aswell
One scientific note: Triceratops did not have osteoderms. Osteoderms are bony plates covering the skin (osteos = bone, dermis = skin). Triceratops did have, however, large scales which may have been covered with keratin (the large scales with the "nipple" like structure) - to these you incorrectly refer as osteoderms.
@@hudson_826 I might have to start looking into a different place to get it. They've been changing the arrival month, every month, for like a year now. It's crazy!
Those giant scales on the frill kill the figure for me. They look so weird and ugly. Everything else about the figure is beautiful... but that frill... 😢
Personally I like them but better big scales than small, perhaps just get a decent needle or xacto knife and carve the necessary lines and repaint the necessary bits? Simply a suggestion although I understand this may be too time consuming for you
@@Dinoramascuplts-Tyrex It would not be the most appropriate thing to be cutting the plastic. What I will do is add a little Das Clay over that area, then model the scales and finally even out the paint.
Hey! They didn't paint claws on the two outer fingers on the front ! Progress! It's a very nice Trike!
That grey one is now mine. I've been waiting so long for a good trike and now it's here
WOW!!!! These 2 are both BEAUTIFUL & AWESOME!!! I gotta pick up these 2!!

Trike 😮😮
Awesome review Andy!!
They look great! I think I like the green one the best but the grey one looks amazing too. Love how they handled the colors and patterning on both.
Beautiful! But i have the PNSO one and I have no money 😂
With all the colors it's like the Lucky Charms of dinosaurs!!😂
They look very impressive. If I have to say the green one is my favorite I don’t know why.
the green one looks absolutely insanely good im shocked.!
These Triceratops are beautiful!
This Trike is perfect. It's like a model of the elder male from prehistoric Planet. Or of Yoshi's Trike.
My good old Papo Trike is looking very nervous on my shelf at the moment...
I think the grey version is the best.

They did amazing with this triceratops figure. I ordered it, I need to add some more carnivores to my collection as well tho.
Do you have any pterosaurs you would recommend looking for a good one

Could you compare the haolonggood triceratops with rebor's?
Hi Andy, have you cancelled order of the P1S 1/38 Giganotosaurus? Why isn't there a review?
@hudson_826 nope. Still waiting. No idea what the heck is taking soooooo long!!
@@andysdinosaurreviews Weird! Stocks are still available on the Chinese online marketplace Taobao! BBTS should have no excuse.

Tempting…..

I love how some companies are making triceratops models without those ugly cheeks, never liked the parrot mouth design
imagine they made them articulated action figure
