I had an e66 (2006 750li), my favorite. A beast of a car and a pleasure to drive. The only thing I didn't like was the computer and transmission. You had to flatten out the gas pedal to really get it to go. I now drive a 740i with similar computer / transmission issues, but still fun. As for the i7, outside of the exorbitant price, it is a game-changer to me. I would say BMW has finally earned their motto of, "The ultimate driving machine." IMHO they've done something no car manufacturer ever has. Acquired rock bottom NVH (noise/vibration/harshness), a suspension that can corner on rails while feeling like you are driving a cloud at the same time, and now with EV provided linear acceleration with no quirky transmission. However, I also feel they went way too far with the electronics and the price is really up there. I would like to see what a base model of the i7 might look like with a reduced price. Regardless, it makes me excited to see that a car like this has even been produced. Nice work BMW.
One of the few cars with great classical sedan design.

Whisper quiet at speed. Sounds like BMW nailed it here.🤫
Let me know what is your impression on the BMW i7 and what is your favourite past generation of the 7 Series?
this video made me consider buying an electric BMW instead of a Tesla... seems like BMW hit the mark with this car
I have one and it’s amazing!
