What is the secret of the soil you make?
In India ludwigia white is still a very new plant…… only GreenWaterAquascapes is selling them. So it’s very pricey right now , about $ 6.02 for 3 stems. I bought them and 2 months after i propagated them and now I have a 2 feet tank of only Ludwigia white..

Stunning tank! I don't see a clean-up crew in any of your tanks - how do you keep them algae-free??
It's a combination of factors. He plants very densely from the beginning, uses a pre-cycled biologically mature soil packed with beneficial bacteria (probably has an awesome free natural source out there in Indonesia), has magic water with probably perfect parameters for aquatic plants (his well water is probably low in KH and rich in CO2 and nutrients), changes a large % of the water like every 2 days if I remember correctly, no fish waste, etc... Algae has no chance.
I like every tank you created, the plant health are stunning. As i know this plant need addition of stable carbon dioxide injection in order to grow healthy but I did not saw you use them. Do you hide the carbon dioxide by using inline automizer?
Natural CO2 comes from routine water changes (using well water), natural CO2 lasts around 2 days

Saya pantau, banyak sekali yg tanya komposisi soil DIY nya apa, cuma tak ada 1 pun pertanyaan terkait itu dijawab.
Saran, kalo berkenan, buat skala besar, dijual ke scaper yg membutuhkan.
Jujur, liat tanaman dgn warna maksimal itu kebahagiaan tersendiri buat penghobi.
Mungkin dgn fenomena scaper berhasil tanam dgn soil ini, banyak scaper yg sudah pensiun bakal balik lagi untuk buat aquascape mereka.

Banyak orang luar nanya komposisi media tanam, padahal bisa di export kl nemu network yg pas. Atau setidaknya jual di local market sistem PO.
Saya pake soil ADA, air RO, co2 tabung, hpl highlight, cuma hasilnya jauh dibawah yg divideo
@@yogiindrayatna6963 I highly doubt that his soil is somehow magical or better than reputable commercial aquasoils. But I'm willing to bet that his well water has higher CO2 levels than most people who inject CO2, that his water has a complete and balanced nutrient profile, that it has very low carbonate hardness (KH). Also note that he changes a large % of the water every 1-2 days, uses moderate light, and has no or very low fish waste.
The only "trick" with his soil (that he keeps mentioning) is that it's pre-cycled and very biologically mature. But that's it. People think the secret is his soil, when it's really his perfect water, his unusually rich CO2, and his maintenance/water change routine (see how many hobbyists commit to changing a big % of water every 2 days like he does).

Very nice tank 👍. You are using Charcoal in the substrate. Can I also use active carbon that is normally used in filters?
