Compare the thermodynamic efficiencies to be expected (a) when an engine operates between 1000 K and 300K, (b) when an engine operates between 1000 K and 600K and heat is passed to and another engine working between 600K and 300 K. Plz solve this question
If temperatures is increasing or entropy is constant then process is called isentropic compression. If temperatures decrease and entropy is constant then process is called isentropic expansion. If temperature is constant and pressure increases then process is called isothermal compression. And vis3 versa
Sir, that's a wonderful explanation may i know your email so that it would be really helpful for me to solve some question asked in our university of Rome tor vergata very clearly. thank you.
Sir I heard efficiency of Carnot cycle is T1-T2/(T1) but in this videos it's different I know formula for efficiency of Carnot cycle is the ratio of lower temp to the higher temp can u clarify this
Hello sir I am mechanical student 3 semester from durg polytecnic college Meri Jo thermal ki teacher hai bahut bekar padhati hai so aap 3rd semester ke syllabus se daily starting chapter se padhana start kijiye sir daily
In pressure volume diagram, in process 1-2 it is heat addition process so pressure must increase but in P-V diagram the slope of pressure is decreasing, how? Either you are totally wrong or I need to start selling newspapers. Please Help.
This process name is isothermal heat addition. First this process is isothermal Then temperature should be constant. Next this process follows Boyle's law.... If pressure decreases then volume increase at constant temperature. And other name of this process isothermal expansion process.
Actually 1-2 process is expansion process...so expansion ratio will come like v2÷V1 is expansion ratio u told that is compression ration..in Carnot cycle cycle compression occur at 3-4 process..so compression ratio is volume before compression divided by volume after compression
Dekho agr constant temperature hai to ek straight line aayegi or wo aap k temperature k constant hogi Then age isentropic compression or expansion hai toh mtlv hai entropy constant hai to entropy k liye straight line aayegi Yhi chiz agr p_v diagram m dekhoge toh Curve m aayegi sari line
Thermal efficiency of the Carnot cycle (a) Depends upon only on the working fluid (b) Depends only on the temperature limits of the cycle (c) Depends upon only the ambient conditions (d) None of above

Yaa sure I will make more videos on rankine cycle, carnot cycles, brayton cycle, etc.
U =q +w
At Constant temperature, U=O
q=-w and dw=-pdv
p=nRT/V, when you put this value in above equation, get
q=nRTln V2/V1
plz post the video for finding the efficiency of DUAL CYLCE also plzzz..these videos are really helpful as they r short n crisp to the point...
Sure brother
Very helpful sir
#sandeshlaghave
Thanks for explaining it
Great way to teach sir..

Epic explaination sir
Thank you! Sharma ji
Lel... I ve bck in 3rd sem.. And I cnt affrd tuition teacher... So I am here😂😂😂😂 FML
Okay brother
Carnot cycle me isentropic ki efficiency ni nikalte hai ky
sir make a video numericals for each topics
Bilkul bhai
Sir ham in methods ko apne final exams me likh sakte hai kya ?
Jaisa aapne samjhaya hai
Bilkul brother

T3 ki jagah T2 liya to chalea kya
Is comp.ratio and expn.ratio is same?
Where???
Thank you bro 😘
Welcome brother
How is the entropy decreasing in the first plot?
In t_s diagram
Entropy constant.
Rankine Cycle upload kijiye 🙏
Thanks bro
Always welcome
Heat rejection me T3 kyu liya T2 q nahi
Textbook me T2 liya hai sir ( no change in notations) plzz respond fast having exam day after tomorrow
Both temperature are same, due to isothermal process.
@@TECHNICALCLASSES_TC thank you 👍
Sir how do I know that the process is expanding, compressing, or heat is adding or rejecting. ( in T-S plot)
If temperatures is increasing or entropy is constant then process is called isentropic compression.
If temperatures decrease and entropy is constant then process is called isentropic expansion.
If temperature is constant and pressure increases then process is called isothermal compression.
And vis3 versa
@@TECHNICALCLASSES_TC thanks a lot
Always welcome brother
@@TECHNICALCLASSES_TC entropy increases with temperature
You know brother, GRAPH plot between temperature and entropy
Then how can tell you that temperature increases with entropy increas.
I have subscribed sir plzz give me GATE tips now I'm in mechanical engineering 2 yR

Thank you 🙏🙏
What about isothermal exp and isothermal compression in carnot cycle derivative
Same as isothermal heat addition and isothermal heat rejection.
TS diagram mai sir aapne compression ki jgha expansion galat kr diya
Dekhta hu
Sab sahi hai boss ek dum

Or paper bechne ki zrurt nahi hai just u can read book of thermodynamics.
U also find the same diagram in book.
Plzz type on google search and find Pv diagram of carnot cycle.
