Hello first time Viewer. I not only just subscribed, I would like to say positively : All the layouts at the different locations including your home layout are all 💯winners . They represent model railroading all over our globe 🌏 extremely well. I like this video to my heart as a railroader my inspirations are ideal to my many future layouts. I want to watch more videos on Australia railroads they have amazing fleet of engines i want to get to know them in models as well as the prototypes. In addition here where i reside in North America & Canada. More currently in Mexico as the sudden popularity of FERROMEX railroad comes in the south state they have been coupled up to CN Railroad there! I'm giving this a 5 star video. Thank you so much, Australian railroads have some great history and the locomotives and rolling stock are an interesting blend of North American and British, you'll see EMD Australian built diesels based on the F9 but with a 12 wheel arrangement hauling British style 4 wheel coal carts all the way to Australian build steam locomotives based off British and American, some directly imported with minor alterations. Well in the past, now it's much more modernised but some roads still run the old locomotives. There are a few channels featuring Australian layouts, but I do wish there were more. That was my mission when I started making videos, I wanted to see more Australian videos so I thought I could maybe encourage some others to do the same. I highly recommend Australian Model Railway Magazine as a good look into Australian models and they feature the best layouts from across the country. Thank you so much for the kind comments, we're only a small amateur channel but we truly love the hobby and making videos.
Great videos and content. Grab yourself a polarizing filter for your camera/phone. It will eliminate all the reflections off the acrylic screens/guards. Pretty cheap on eBay these days.
Okay - I don’t ever remember seeing that first layout in Chris’ shop. 😳 When was this filmed? That is the OzRail at Parafield Airport round the back of Bunnings? Cos it sounds very much like Chris’ voice in the background.
This was filmed a year ago, it was a well made layout with excellent details. And yes that's definitely Chris in the background!! The layout was I believe on customer consignment. I also spotted it previously at the Model Railway expedition in Albert Park.

It's made with flexi track without a plan so I don't have a layout plan to show you sorry.
