Mortal Kombat Trilogy Figures by Toy Island 2023 Revised Edition

- Mortal Kombat's second run of figures were produced by Toy Island in 1996-1998. Not to be confused, the Trilogy line was actually the second run of Mortal Kombat figures. The toys were released in conjunction with the Trilogy Video Game for Nintendo 64 & Playstation. With this video, we dive deep into all things Toy Island Mortal Kombat-- the 5" that were really just Hasbro's 3.75" line, the 10 inch figures, and compare them to other eras of MK toys! How well do the figures hold up? Take a look with this complete history retrospective of Mortal Kombat Figures by Toy Island!
You may have seen a previous version of this video on Figure Collections channel! We have revised MK's Trilogy figures for 2023. When it was produced in 2019 it was at a time when I was just learning how to edit video (some may say I am still learning). I'd like to think this extended version with better footage and voiceover by Ian Scherer is worth your time and or re-watch!
Written and produced by Jack Slime of Figure Collections. Special guest voiceover by Ian Scherer of @616Entertainment - Розваги
Excellent Video!
Glad to see you back!
Good figures and memories
Hey it's the 616 guy!
Literally when I saw this video pop up I thought to myself "it’d be cool to hear Ian from 616Entertainment talk about MK figures" and then seconds later I got to hear it. Great person to have as a guest voice for this video. Nice job!
He guest voiced the Mezco Mortal Kombat figure history for us as well! And I'm sure will be back again! We love Ian!
@@FigureCollections Ah, I’ll have to go check that out too then! Ian is one of my favorite guys to watch on all of UA-cam, so I hope there were people that clicked on this video and decided to check him out, the man deserves it!
I’m loving going through and checking out these videos, one of the best sources for figure information on YT 🤙🏻
Awesome !!!!!!!!!!
i had Jade and Cyrax from Toy Island! I totally forgot about those
Your channel is so painfully underrated. May the algorithms bless you.
I do this for fun not for fame! Happy to keep making these videos for whoever decides to tune in. Thanks for your support!
Good to know Hipsterblackmetal has good taste in action figures
Hi Dan Dan!
@616Entertainment is one of our favorites! Happy to have Ian doing the guest voiceover again with this chapter of MK figure history!
Well, the Johnny Cage figure has his MK Trilogy blue armor colors and Sub-Zero had his MK3 eye scar.
I had the Shao Kahn and Raiden figures as a kid. Also had the 10 inch Liu Kang. Loved them though looking back they weren't the best lol!
You should do mezco family guy figures
I thought that was Ian's voice!
i had the sonya and jade figures. hated the sonya figure but i think i still have the jade figure somwhere
It sucks that these figures are just the Hasbro figures but upsized, but overall the second wave is more better
