    It's called Basil. Italian love it in their dish too. It's such a great aroma in a sauce. One of my favorite herb

    I never knew you could put ogiri and garden eggs in Okra stew 😲😲. I only put ogiri in Casava Leaves but now I'll have to try it in my Okra 🤤😁. The stew looked delicious especially the fresh crabs in it 😋 🤣. Great video sissy 🥰❤

      Sis this is not okra stew oo, for us here we have a difference between okra stew and okra soup, they're cooked different and okra stew doesn't go with ogiri but okra soup does😊😊

      The veggies she referred to as garden eggs/eggplants (jiblox) are actually bitterballs (or jakato), but yeah you can (emphasis on can) add garden eggs in your soup if you choose to. You can tweak basically any recipe to your liking.

      You can use foofoo if that’s what you want or if it’s what’s available, but this is not “foofoo okra”. We don’t add garden eggs/jakato to foo foo okra where I come from.

    How do you make sure it stays slimy/draw? I’ve been told to blend it first before adding the okra but once it cooks it never stays slimy

      Don't cover the pot as it is one reason why it becomes less slimy, also be careful not to use too much water
