Wanted to note for builders: The slab roof appears to be a resource saving tool but when entering, the slab gap is visible. To fix that, just replace the holes with another slab or a full block. If you are building this underwater, I do not recommend using the slabs as water particles WILL drip through and can look very odd. As far as the tube going into your base goes, it can seem really blocky and out of place. What has helped me, as I like cottagecore type builds, is that I will use glowberry vines to outline the corners of the water well that takes you in and out of the base. Alternatively, you can remove it entirely and it will still look nice- just be mindful of the floor color pallet if you are building in swamp biomes as the brackish color will throw stuff off. If you want to keep the cozy feel but dislike the monotone brown, moss, mossy cobble and oak wood can really help bring it out.
