The house you built is very nice and can be a reference for me, but can you build a house without using spruce because in playing Minecraft survival, the wood that I usually get is birch and oak, and also sometimes spruce is quite difficult to find.
u can use any kind of wood, outside of maybe trapdoors & decorative bits there isn't rly a functional difference btwn any of the wood types that would prevent u from creating the same builds, so feel free to swap the spruce wood for whatever's available to u
Ngl, the base on the iceberg is too beautiful, I love it, there is no way I would live there but you are the only one who can make me doubt and want to live in such an inhospitable place
