- In the last video you saw me talk about the pneumatic mast with the cobweb on. I promised that I would make a follow-up video after it had used it for a few weeks and performed some tests,
This is the video that demonstrates the Cobweb in use at 3 different heights and compares transmission-reception and SWR.

It goes to show that height really is might. Great video Mike.
Thanks Ben. Appreciate the comment. 73
Call is allsow my "teacher" and love him and his clips. So its nice to see someone works good think in this hobby 👍 Regrads from S50SI 🇸🇮😊
really good video, have seen a cobweb in IO90, looks a great antenna and judging on the performance here, really does the business. I'll be sticking to my 6BTV (or soon to be 8BTV), but cobweb is an excellent antenna, especially like the software you used to test.
The SWR plot at various heights there are no differences at mid point and high. I think there was a slight difference on 20m at 3.5m but that was it.
Great Video thanks! Yes, I know the Cobwebb goes very well from 20-15. Also have a Cobwebb on 14.5m high. But what experience did you have on 12 and 10 m. I have a feeling it's not working that well? 73 de Tom
Hi mike do you have a link for the mast your using please.cobwebs been up for over a year now and still working great 👍
I am mainly interested in antennas and cables, both "ordinary" for elements and coax. How does COBWEB perform and which cable did you use for the elements (double or single according to the Dx 10 option?? In advance, thank you for the answer 73
Thanks Mike.. I have an MFJ 6-20M unit that should be here in two days. I'm building a non collapsable "tower" from nesting aluminum 6061 tubing.. Need to do a bit of machining on it so they are actually slip fit at the ends.. but it should well be self supporting (no guy wires). I'll do a temporary setup at my fence and if I have no serious feedback from my neighbors.. I'll do a permanent mount in the back yard (garden)
Good luck 73
Was this a cobweb that you purchased or did you make your own?
I bought it. MFJ. I have restrung it though.
