The third BF20 axis is up and running, the X-axis this time.
This does not contain much CNC machining or cool tricks (sorry).
Its purely about the making and assembly of the X-axis (for BF20L build-log followers).
De derde as, de X-as, is inmiddels helemaal werkend.
Deze video bevat geen echt NC freeswerk of leuke trucjes (sorry).
Het gaat puur over de assemblage van de Y as (voor BF20L bouwverslag volgers).

Thank you for the informative series you have done on this project. Very helpfull. Now that you have run it for a while, how are your experiences with this setup? Any changes you would like to make to your design?

I cannot stress how much i thank you for your free information on this cnc convertion.
I will make it with motore spaces instead cause i already purcase the aluminium parts and i just now figure out your site!
My mill is about the same model from a different brand(vf25L from cau cau).
I would like to ask you if your NEMA34 motors do you any problems for standing a litle proud above tha milling table.
I already have them so i would stick on NEMA34 steppers to.
Anyway i will be watcing you.
Great work my friend, subscribed offcourse..

Welcome and thank you for the very kind words !
The motors used are working absolutely fine for me since they are outside the working envelope.
Also If you would want to machine bigger parts it is not very common to place it flat on the surface since you will probably prevent the cutter from touching the table.
