The best three home atmospheres i have seen in the last couple of years are Leeds & Wrexham (shockingly), but Birmingham's was easily the best
Brentford fan - ngl the gtech sucks harder than the vacuums and we know it - but it's getting a lot better as of late: growing pains and all that.
might rock up with a cordless to the fortress like it's 2010 world cup w/ vuvuzelas 🐝🐝🐝
Saying derby have better home fans than Forest might be your worst take in 2025
Been to Derby a few times with pompey and it's been awful😂good attendance no noise similar to Sunderland
They do? When Forest were in Derby's position they'd have nowhere near the attendance/atmosphere Derby have. Forest overrated cos they've started turning up now they're in the prem.
Its true im a wednesday fan and been to both grounds a number of times, derby always been far better imo. Things are prob different this season though for obvious reasons
We sell out even in league 1 & the dross we have to watch atm. Whilst Forest only rock up when they do well
wait forest have fans?
Colchester Fan here. Plymouth and Charlton are the loudest grounds I've been to. Preston on their day can be good aswell.
Good to know dad's telling us about planes at Stockport away is a universal experience
Appreciate putting Pompey in s teir, we try our best 🤣
As a united fan, even last year the atmosphere was 10x better, ever since INEOS have bought stakes they have been eradicating the fan culture from the club. First they ruined the system for euro aways, then 66 quid and now we have stewards patrolling the ground to make sure that anyone standing up and trying to create an atmosphere is kicked out and have their season tickets revoked. The atmosphere has so much potential because of the stadium and the fans we have.
Against PAOK, my side, you lot were shockingly bad, we dominated the whole 90 minutes, didn't expect that tbh.
Rank the club anthems, not a lot of videos out there doing that. YNWA and Keep Right On are the two best imo
Marching on together easily 1 for me
Tote end boys on top for me
Idk what's happened to Huddersfield since covid but I think we've been shit at home
We still made noise after we were relegated from the PL and then it all changed after fans came back from lockdown it's sad because I do miss our old atmosphere
My ears are ringing when I get home from Fratton Park PUP 💙
Callum taking nicely about Bristol city, you alright mate ;)
This really depends on the day, how the match is going, league position etc etc. Forest against Bournemouth, at the start of the season, was meh due to our player breaking his ankle. Against Liverpool however, it was superb.
Watford fan here, put us at the bottom in our own tier
Literally had me in tears the whole video 😂 made my day this.
As a Blackburn fan we have to be in the bottom tier tbh, our home support is absolutely horrendous these days, numbers most of the time but even when we get a decent gate it's completely dead.
Even on Friday in a local derby the home support didn't even sell out and was silent until the goal
Preston isn't our main derby, we sold out against Burnley but aye ticket prices and boycotting owners means we have poor gates most of the time. Noise wise it's always shite.
Unfortunately have to agree yeh until these owners bugger off
5:02 This is why english fans are clueless and make bad atmospheres, they don't adhere to ultra culture. Mate, the drum is the most important thing to coordinate a stand of thousands of people to not lose rhythm. Like without the drum, a proper chant that lasts-not like a one minute burst from the crowd, you can not stay coordinated for your life.
Drums aren't used in South American stands
@kitsch570 Cause they use whole bloody bands mate
@@chrissak1589 I don't particularly mind drums at games. But it's very rarely heard in ground with ultras - unless I've just not picked up on it. No drums used regularly in Germany, Czechia, France, Italy.. Just from experience, happy to be wrong!
As a Burnley fan we’re normally decent not been great this season at home but have watched what 8 0-0 draws this season so don’t blame anyone
2 weeks ago I would have said you had Everton too high, but the Moyesia has lead us out of the dark. The last 2 games have been great.
Don't know if this will help with Watford, but went there this Season (admittedly on Boxing Day, so maybe everyone was hungover and ill). But it was surprisingly empty and they didn't sing at all, honestly, completely dead until they scored a 90+4 winner, then they sung "You're not singing anymore". To which we sung "You weren't singing anyway." - You'd think a club that plasters Elton John lyrics all over the stadium would actually have some songs to sing.
Spot on with top 2 tiers, and agree with Liverpool, I really enjoy going to Pride Park as it's a great back and forth, because they sit you right next to their fans. Newcastle are intimidating, but I've not been for some years, so dunno how it is these days with the money and expectations.
Burton Albion is the worst home atmosphere I've been to, and I used to go regularly when I couldn't get to my own club. When they score, it's less of a cheer and more a spattering of applause like when someone get's a 4 in Cricket, or hits an okay Golf shot. I like Burton a lot, the away day is good, fantastic pubs and the grounds' food is decent, but you have to make the atmosphere yourself as away fans otherwise it's deafening silence.
Anyway, no one asked my opinion, but I gave it anyway, enjoy! - Great vid, keep them up! Really enjoy them!
Love from Pompey🔵
I feel like Coventry should be in decent
Meh is a bit harsh
I’m a Barnsley fan and i would have us in Ass to be honest. Every away ground i visit are more load than our home fans. We do show up for big games and it doesn’t help that we are shite but it even took Duff when we were doing well to call out how poor our fans were to get us going.
Was at Watford with Pompey. Up until they got a dodgey pen we didn’t hear a thing from them.
Hard being a match going Reading fan at the moment. So many fans have given up on the club and it's hard to blame them at this point. Truly miserable, miserable times
Yeah I agree. Although us 1871 are hard carrying the stadium, wish the Madjeski stand would put in a bit more effort, basicly just another family stand
Great Vid
It’s finally here 🎉🎉
Pretty accurate I'd say
Barnsley man is back at it again! 🔥
Hope our game this week is decent and our atmosphere is good, it's been a bit flat last couple of games. Not sure if you'll be given the Railway end or Pop side as Birmingham and Mansfield recently had the Railway end because they moaned about wanting more tickets.
Coventry average 27k this season. And we’ve been awful
Awful , ur 3 points off playoffs ?
We averaged that last season and we stayed up on last day? 🤷♂️😂🦉
@@lewis_2000I’m saying purely on the basis he said we only get crowds when we are doing well not about other teams
@@DennzsXbcause we’ve just won 4 in a row. We were averaging 27k before that, when we were near the bottom 3
I'm probably repeating myself but Wednesday fans walking out of THAT playoff semi with a few minutes to go only needing one goal then embarrassingly pouring back in when they get said goal means they can't be any higher than Meh
Yeah Huddersfield had one of the best home atmospheres in the premier league but ever since it’s slowly become worse and worse. However still getting around 20k for league one and not much to shout about
Putting coventry in meh what a clown
Have not watched but if Villa are above decent it's wrong and even that is kind based upon how good we should be considering (edit: fail, we are worse than we were in Chmapionship when we had less fans in the ground). Outside of big games we have become very poor. Home CL games this season we have been very good but in the PL most games 75 minutes is basically a library and as fans we are very not supportive, whole lot of negative wankers
Compared to continental atmospheres like in Turkey and eastern Europe, Germanty and South America ALL English fans frankly suck, we have funny self depricting songs and that's about it. Very loud in England is a meh many other places
real fans have been priced out. I personally still go, but I'm one of a group of 10 where 9 have given it up because of the cost
I would put the two ends and two sides at Edgeley Park into four completely different categories ranging from Loud or Very Loud (5,500 in Cheadle End) to Stinking Ass (soon to be re-developed Railway End); suspect that’s true of most other grounds as well.
This is definitely not gonna go well for our lads
Update: got around 2 tiers higher than expected 😂
Loudest grounds I have been are st Andrews 80s Victoria ground stoke old den and Roker Park
Had some free tickets for City v Shakhtar a few year ago and despite not minding city as a club, bit behind goal was full of the most miserable, entitled tosspots I've ever heard at a game. Had a drum as well.
As for us, loudest I've heard us all season was when Nwakali got announced motm other day
It's such a useless metric really. Atmosphere directly correlates with past and present success and fan catchment areas. It's exactly why Elland Road is great and they travel well. It's not that Leeds fans are innately born with the ability to make more atmosphere than someone born supporting Burton Albion.
Very good point 🤣
Greeenz
I assume you went to the kassam in the away section and it doesnt help that you are tucked in the corner next to no stand and the furthest away from any 'ultras'. In need of a new staduim ASAP
Northampton just gets slandered everywhere
Obviously Billy Casper here knows F/all about crowds/supporters, yes Cov had around 13k in league 1, but since the Championship have averaged around 18k - 29k, last 8 yrs average gate 25k, and sell out most away games, and are ALWAYS loud away but also at home, meh my ass. PUSB
Do a video ranking the 92 based on away concessions
Birmingham fantastic atmosphere place really rocks
As a Middlesbrough if we're in decent form we're loud but recently it's been Meh
Fulham, Norwich and Watford absolutely horrendous
Pointless selling tickets
Also, my opinion of Liverpool away was like a church, and they spanked us aswel, I never expected them to be so quiet.
Out of all the "big 6" I've done them home and away, Manchester United has the best home and away fans
As a huddersfield town fan I'd put us in meh we don't make noise like we used to.
There's like 40 different teams called town mate which one do you mean
@@coolcoconuts4453 huddersfield sorry
Went hudds away with bolton this year they were singing for 2 mins before we scored then they were queit as a mouse
Pompey fan here. I went to Bristol City last month and they were super quiet.
Im a bristol city fan. We are really inconsistent when it comes to atmosphere, one week can be loud next it's like a morgue. I'd put us in meh personally
DCFC FOR LIFE
Smaller team doesn’t equate to poor atmosphere necessarily, i remember Accrington being quite rowdy behind their goal.
Callum loves the Boro
'best period in Wrexham's history' absolutely clueless
no, absolutely correct, unless you count the combination cup😂
@jordandeathridge or when we were beating Porto in Europe?
@@gilesjones3626 you beat them once then got trashed by roma in the next round. you were only there because you stole the welsh spot. wasn't anything impressive
@Darknight-ol4nn haha ok pal. How many other teams outside the prem have ever played the likes of Porto and Roma, never mind beaten them? Third oldest club in the world, oldest international ground. I could go on. Historic club
@ shit club, shit place. don't really deserve to be any higher that league 2 icl, wish the americans had picked a more interesting club to fund
Honestly surprised we are not Stinking ass the pass 3yrs has made our home crowd real bad. We travel well if that means anything. (Reading)
Forest verdict is shocking 😂
Bristol City is awful, thrashed us but sang about 3 times
Bristol City ahead of Forest is the mother of all clangers
Ashton gate is ten times louder 😂
@ course it is mate 😂😂😂
Where are Bromley
You going to rank championship winter transfers on deadline day
You saying brentford is ass but put Bournemouth and Brighton in the tier above. Brentford vs Newcastle this season trumped any support I've seen their home fans do in brentford away games even when they're winning
Can’t believe youve ranked boro higher than Sunderland
We are wolves 🐺🇬🇧
havent watched yet but callum if you put my team low you better keep an eye open when you sleep
Everton is a myth, one of the quietest away days I’ve been to
Barnsley in meh when stadium is 2/3 empty
shrewsbury quieter then barnsley at home really get a grip
I’m a watford fan we are meh at home but we are getting getter last season was so bad
Gottle of gear 😂
Based on this season throw us in the bottom
lived in brighton for a couple of years and they have to be ass. tbf only games i went to were sides like burnley but still, never heard a peep.
116 views in 4 minutes is arousing
Bristol city are absolutely shite fans.
How you factoring in Liverpool getting up for smaller games. Everton is quiet every week unless Liverpool play there. It’s pathetic how queuet it is
Shut up Ryan ye wool
Brighton should defo be lower, shocking.
Jesus u keep trying to hide ur love for us
BARNSLEY.
That forest take is absolutely honking.
League one review x
Wensdi under bristol citeh thawot
Are you calling the East Anglian Derby pathetic or the people who take the mick out of it pathetic?
As a Norwich fan, it's a very unique Derby match. It's not a city Derby, it's pretty much an entire region Derby. As you stated, Norfolk and Suffolk are very rural other than Norwich in Norfolk and Ipswich in Suffolk. It's a Derby that basically represents each county. Go to most places in these counties and they will have their represented clubs as the team the support. Very rare to know someone who supports the other.
Orient to high imo
everton is very loud lol
I know you hate forest but christ your opinions stink whenever you talk about us😂
Why does he dislike us? I dont get it
@aidanb3322 political reasons from the 70s and 80s between Forest and Barnsley. Its a fair reason but also means his analysis about us is always lazy lol
CALLUM MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT LUKA DONCIC GOING TO THE LAKERS
It's a football channel mate not a basketball channel, go find an NBA channel
Have you been to Everton they have two songs. Very quiet when I went. Very quiet m. Leeds I agree but Everton no
Your consistent level of moist for Goodison park is weird pal. It isn't much at all, honestly. Quite forgettable actually
Ok?
southampton in decent the game's well and truly gone
Not sure Birmingham should be that high, at time it is deafening, but far too often really quiet, that said from the away end and nearby the acoustics mean that you can't hear the Tilton Road even when they are singing so it may be louder than I think. I'd still drop us a level though.
Just so everyone knows it's just someone's opinion dont cry about what he thinks lol
