most of the time, whenever i travel on the aeroplane, i wrap around a piece of ribbon around the handles of the suitcases i bring, so you can easily pick out where your suitcases are on the baggage escalator thingy (soz i forgot the name of it)
It's so awesome seeing people getting to do the things they've been dreaming about for years. So happy for you. I'll be studying abroad soon as well so this video was SUPER helpful. Can't wait to see how you like Copenhagen!
This is so useful! I'm heading to Copenhagen (hopefully) in September and I'm so worried about over-packing. You look like you have everything important and it's so neat. Thanks for sharing :)
This is so exciting! I just applied for an internship in Greece, and my NY resolution was to take a trip this year, so this just helps remind me of my goal haha. I do wish I'd studied abroad in my undergrad though :(
Good luck!!! Have fun! Thank you for the video , it's very helpful. I am thinking of studying abroad next fall semester. This gives me a good on what I should be bringing it.
Ahh so exciting! I studied there 2 years ago and had the best experience of my life! I'm trying to go back to Denmark as soon as I can! Wonderful country! Enjoy 😊
This is so helpful! I don't leave for my study abroad in Manchester until next Saturday so I'm finally starting to pack. Wishing you the absolute best and safe travels.
Welcome to Denmark. I live in Odense, and I am a danish native. I hope your stay here will be enjoyable. If you have any questions please get in touch. I can give you a tour of Odense- if you are so inclined. I seems you are well prepared :)
I'm really excited to see you discover Copenhagen, I'm gonna enjoy vicariously your experience as a few months ago I came back from a year abroad and I miss it! Safe trip (even if I imagine you'll already be there when the video is posted)
Ahh I wish I had seen this before I went to Argentina last year, it would have helped so much! I'm trying to be more minimalist and your packing is so amazing :O
oh my when you're in Copenhagen you HAVE TO go to Papirøen, its the coolest food market ever (not too many vegan options though..) and is located on this little island just outside of Nyhavn i love it so much
oh i thought you were vegan hahah! yeah they definitely had much more vegetarian dishes (which tasted AMAZING btw) compared to the vegan ones. there's almost always lots of people there though so it might be hard to find a place to sit
Yes! But I got here and it's only a European shaped pillow... I should have known. Now on the hunt for an American shaped one so I can use my cases lol
Hi!!! I'm from Mexico but I study in Spain by myself, so I've done the jump to the other side of the world many times, and I just recommend that you make your backpack lighter, like only your book, laptop, your wallet, the important papers and the planner instead of the many stuff you're taking for entretainment. You're probably going to be walking a lot, so that's why I'm telling you to make it lighter, besides, that backpack is going to be under the front seat and where you put your legs, and the smaller it is, the more comfortable you'll be. I see that you still have space in your carry on, so you can put all that stuff in there.
Both of these have actually already been linked down here in the comments! But here you go: Suitcases: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C2TXDKA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Makeup bag: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OAP32VU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Any chance of posting a link of that makeup bag? I would be interested in getting one myself! I fly to/from college and will be going abroad next year.
really helpful video! I just wanted to ask if you could provide some details on your personal item/backpack (name, brand name, place, price, available online? etc.) thanks!
Is there not a rule tht u r not allowed to take more than 1 liter into the air plane? And tht each container is not allowed to be over 100 ml? They looked too large in your backpack. I was also missing an adapter to charge your electronic stuff in Europe, but maybe tht was just not in the video.
Yup, said that in the vid. I said it during my checked luggage part. Although I have a backup in my carry-on as well that was not mentioned - it was in that bag of misc. electronics
Hey! I'm planning on studying abroad in London in the fall! I was wondering what phone you were bringing? I know you can carry a hotspot device or change sim cards, but i'm looking for the easiest way possible- maybe the whole different phone thing is? Have fun in Copenhagen girly!! 💕
Not sure if it's because I'm on the Danish LL Bean site or if it's because I bought that backpack almost 4 years ago, but I no longer see this exact one on there. They've still got great ones though!
I'm just leaving Denmark after studying here for 5 months!! It's lovely here, but cold. Brace yourself. Oh, and get a bike!! (: check out my Instagram : coronadaniel21
Tara E. Yeah you're right and it actually hasn't snowed much. I'm from southern California so that's why it was a shock for me. I've never been colder. Get ready to experience the Danish culture! Ahh so excited for you! Have fun and good luck (:
Tara E. Also I know you're probably super prepared and all that but if you have any questions you can totally ask me. P.S. Visit Aarhus while you're out here

I noticed you packed a phone for your trip. What phone and phone plan did you get?
Any chance of posting a link of that makeup bag? I would be interested in getting one myself! I fly to/from college and will be going abroad next year.

Great video! Where did u get that bookbag in the beginning of the video? It's superrr cute and great for traveling! :)
Hi, do you have tips for packing in winter abroad?
Is there not a rule tht u r not allowed to take more than 1 liter into the air plane? And tht each container is not allowed to be over 100 ml? They looked too large in your backpack. I was also missing an adapter to charge your electronic stuff in Europe, but maybe tht was just not in the video.
They're not too big - it's a TSA specific bag and containers. Got through security this morning with no issues lol
Did u pack in an adapter for the plug sockets?
Yup, said that in the vid. I said it during my checked luggage part. Although I have a backup in my carry-on as well that was not mentioned - it was in that bag of misc. electronics
How are you liking Copenhagen! I'm currently abroad and am thinking about visiting
Hi there! great video! Was this through Erasmus?
Did you stay at a guest family or rent a dormroom?
Hello I loved you video! Could you please list your bag and the amazon's school bag for makeup please? They look really practica :) Thank you!
Hey! I'm planning on studying abroad in London in the fall! I was wondering what phone you were bringing? I know you can carry a hotspot device or change sim cards, but i'm looking for the easiest way possible- maybe the whole different phone thing is? Have fun in Copenhagen girly!! 💕
Does anyone know the style/name of her backpack? Literally everything she owns is so stylish!! Loved this video!
I think it's LL Bean! But I could be wrong
Not sure if it's because I'm on the Danish LL Bean site or if it's because I bought that backpack almost 4 years ago, but I no longer see this exact one on there. They've still got great ones though!
Alright thanks so much for looking!
Ahhh I'm studying abroad in Sweden!! Are you still in Copenhagen or did you return home yet?
could you link the suitcases? :)
Yup! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C2TXDKA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Omg! I am moving to Germany! You should have a meetup!! ❤️
I'm not sure how many people would come! It's a cool idea though
what kind of laptop do you have?
Does something happen when you change US SIM cards?
You can no longer use your American number
I'm just leaving Denmark after studying here for 5 months!! It's lovely here, but cold. Brace yourself. Oh, and get a bike!! (: check out my Instagram : coronadaniel21
I don't think it's any colder than where I'm from lol! And yup, like I said I will have a bike while I'm there - pretty pumped!
