You'd be surprised, but Sevika is actually NOT part of the game, she's an original character from the series. She did get a character in the TFT mode about a month ago, which is a separate autochess game mode, but before the series she wasn't truly there, like many other amazing characters. You can't just tell which characters are from the game and/or lore just by watching Arcane, because they're all treated with the respect and care they deserve, not just the most well-known.
The Messianic imagery is pretty obvious, but my brother and I were having fun talking about the Frankenstein parallels this episode with Jayce and Viktor. The fact one of them is named Viktor in the first place, the big rectangle Victor steps out of like the table/slab in the movies, and my personal favorite, Jayce saying "You're alive!" when he sees Viktor's new form.
Jinx never sought power, all she ever wanted was her father's (Silco's) approval and for him to be proud of her. But after losing him, she lost all will to keep going.
From Viktor's point of view it is quite hard to trust Jayce. The last thing the said was that they are going to destroy the weapons and the hexcore. He has no idea what happened in between. The only thing he can see is that Jayce broke all their promises.
Note that the last things Viktor saw before leaving Jayce are the Hextech weapon blueprints. He has always had conflicts with Jayce but using Hextech for war is the last straw for Viktor
I grew up with amv's and stuff alike so I don't really mind the songs in arcane and in fact, I love it. i do recognize that they are using it as a tool to get through the story faster and I still do not mind it since the medium upon which the story is being told barely matters as long as it is good, and the music is good despite being literal and all of that.
Love how when Viktor comes out of his fridge/cocoon, his voice sounds a bit more... ethereal (?). However, when he simply says "goodbye, jayce", he sounds more human. This show is all for the little details man
I’m not sure if I’m reading too much into this, but for a while now, it feels like you view the content you're consuming through the lens of concepts and ideas you already have, rather than immersing yourself in it at a deeper level. It’s great to hear your insights on these shows, but is this how you approach things even when you’re not recording a reaction? Regardless, I appreciate your thoughts a couple thousand times more than a lot of the 'bass in a wall' types of channels
the thing about people in high status/power positions being there mainly due to having forceful personality is very interesting but also ..yeah, that tracks. did you notice if it's a good thing (for them) that they're like that? sure, it seems to open doors to money and status like you said, but are they secretly or not so secretly unhappy, and are so motivated to achieve these things in the first place to compensate for that, or are there people like that who are genuinely well balanced? the thing about intelligence and the question if it's really intelligence if it doesn't help you to get good outcomes, i get what you mean but it's probably a bit of a bias to see intelligence as this all-encompansing good quality. though there's definitely a narrative in society that it's like that. or i guess it's fine for the word to have two different meanings too. but it's just _a_ quality, and has pros and cons like you said. you maybe see things clearly more often (but not even necessarily), but in some situations seeing things clearly is worse. but yeah if you find yourself too careful because of that ..how do you even compensate for that. you can't exactly unconsider things you've already considered ..so do you just act a bit delusional on purpose?

Nice catch 😂

your reactions to this show are such a breath of fresh air.
2:32 "she's gonna be so drunk on power" I love the character impressions.

3:05 great more stuff to add to the lore board of your life from the limited view of this channel
On another note Viktor becoming robo Jesus was not on my bingo card for this season

Sevika was seen gambling a few times last season, so the arm is especially fitting

I don't think Goodwin enjoys Arcane very much, he sure didn't back in season 1
funny enough, Sevika is not a character inthe game, but with those abilities bet they have her in the works
the Jinx poster was put by piltover. But you are right instead of printing posters if they gave that money to Zaun, Zaun could have started healing
isha is not a boy scout, she's a girl! ;)
AW YISSS PAIN THE SERIES
I hope you enjoy it!
ishaaaaaaaaaa
