I am always excited for these embroidery updates! I am loving the fall foliage, I think it looks like an autumnal hundred acre woods. Straight outta sweet Winnie the Pooh land. 🍂🍯 Such a good point about American Redux, won't be able to get the full scope of it since it has to be visual. Hopefully if you come across a physical copy at the library you'll be able to pick it up! Sounds like the Bee Sting is such a roller coaster! Sounds like a heavy book "Some people need killing".👀
I really enjoy your reviews. They are so insightful and substantial. I am also loving your embroidery progress. Those trees rock! And finally I’m putting “Some people need killing” on my list. Thank you
Your embroidery is coming along beautifully. America Redux definitely works best in a physical book. That's how I first read it. I later revisited on audio for a book club discussion and definitely prefer the book. Someone else read it on kindle and they mentioned that they wish the had gotten the physical book because kindle didn't allow them to see full spreads. The Bee Sting has been on my list. But it's so long and I wasn't sure I wanted to invest that much time on it. I tend to find ambiguous endings frustrating. I appreciate your review.
I really need to find America Redux in a physical copy. I think it sounds amazing if I could actually consume it correctly 😅 I think if you are unsure on The Bee Sting and don't like ambiguous endings it might be worth skipping. But if you ever get around to reading it let me know! I would love to hear more perspectives on it!
I love The Uncommon Reader. Alan Bennett is an old English comedian, his comedy group was an influence on Monty Python so he has been around forever. I need to get more of his books.
I didn't realize that! I went into the book not really knowing anything about it and spent quite a bit of time confused about what it was trying to do 😅
I can't decide if I want to read The Bee Sting. The reviews have been all over the place. I really want to read Some People Need Killing but I must wait until I'm in a better headspace.
Yes. Make sure you are feeling okay going into Some People Need Killing because you won't feel okay coming out of it. The Bee Sting was not my favorite but I know lots of people have loved it!
I actually didn't know about Savidge Reads when I started the channel 😅 Savage is just my last name! By the time I realized it I had already been making videos for nearly a year

Thank you so much! ❤ Next time I am in the USA I will have to make a bookstore stop to look for America Redux 😊

Agree about those trees!
Thank you so much! Best wishes on "Some People..." It was a really amazing book with a difficult subject matter.

I’m a little fearful about seeking out _Some People_ but indeed it looks important.
It is a really important book! I think you would really appreciate it 😊

Calling a channel the same name as a well known book tuber? Sneaky
