I hope you have a great time marathoning these games. I never really played the Final Fantasy games much growing up so I missed out on a lot. I do remember renting FF X and liking that, but could never get past the damn Blitzball game XD. And I borrowed a friend's copy of FF XII but didn't get too far in it. Since then I have played FF VII, the remake, FF XIII, and FF XV to completion. It's not much, but at least I'm not totally clueless lol.
Nice! Have fun :D I feel a little spied on in real life though. Was planning on playing/streaming a lot of them as well, as I've never played any at all. And then we got this video in our recommendations, haha. Will probably start with 9 as that was suggested to be a great starting point by some seasoned FF players.
Before I mention things.. I am honestly not trying to use the funny haha number, but FF6 and FF9 are some good starting points. One from the 16-bit era and the other from the 3D era of the time. Both are wonderful and I believe they are great starters for folks who haven't played or are looking into playing FF games
FF4, FF6, FF8, FF9, and FFX(but piss off blitzball) If I had to choose a favourite..I think I'd have to go with FF4 as well. Not the first FF game I played since I did play the NES, but it's definitely the first game that roped me in, opened up a portal and pulled me right the fuck in to that universe way back when.
