OMG!! Finally somebody knows how to make a first class, professional video, where they’re speaking clearly, and not being drowned out by background music, and they get to the point without all the fluff, and have the subject matter well lit, and explain what they’re doing as they go. THATS how you make a great video. Ok, so now I’ll go out and buy one. Thank you. 😊
Jerry Thanks for your support. I’m sorry for the late reply. There’s some kind of glitch and this just popped up today. But I appreciate you my man. 👍🏾💯
Great video bro ! Cannot give you enough praise. Was going to watch just to get a basic idea of the build but your video was so detailed that I just followed along . I'm sure you saved me a huge headache thank you 😁.
Yeah man. I like the Akorn concept and the price as compared to other Kamado cookers. Really versatile and gets the job done. Thanks for watching Brandon!
My two front legs are identical in shape, so no matter how I install them, one wheel is always facing at a 90 degree angle from the other. They seem to have sent me two left or two right legs, instead of one of each… great Christmas present…
Great video Geoff…probably the best assembly video I’ve seen on UA-cam. I plan on getting one of these in the spring so I saved your video for the assembly. Have you been pleased with the Auto Kamado after using it for a while?
Thanks for the kind worked Cliff. I love Kamado style cooking and this unit will fit the bill. I have to say in terms of using this and the regular Akorn, I became a pro with the vents on the original. So I could light my coals and dial them back and set my temp with no problem. And it would stay there. On this Auto Kamado, the temps do hold. But I find that I have a spike on this grill that takes time to settle down. It’s not bad. I just have to plan for it when preheating. Still a good cooker and Kamado cookers provide excellent flavor and moisture. Do you already have a Kamado style grill?
I have a Char-Griller Acorn Jr. It is fun to play with but not very practical. I had plans to get the Auto Kamado in the spring until I saw Homeowner BBQ’s post about the Auto Kamado being on sale at Walmart. They were selling them for $220….got my order in this evening about 10 minutes before they sold out. Merry Christmas to me. I’ll be checking your videos out for some tips. I hope the holidays are good for you and your family.
Yes you can. And can use it as a traditional Akorn. There was a bulletin put out about it. You just have to monitor your temps. You can also use the stone heat deflector as well. Thanks for watching.
Just finished assembling mine and I’m getting an Error P code. Its a heat sensor error. I’ve emailed customer support but wondered if anyone had any suggestions? Yes I’ve rechecked the connector, wiped off the probe.
Jeffrey, I apologize for the delay. I would definitely get a new probe from customer service either way. If the probe error shows still, I would ask for a new computer. Please let me know how this turns out. Cheers!

I wonder if i can order the older version for the bottom part with manual air intake

Prob cleared it right up! Did my first butt on the grill so much less guessing on how to keep the heat constant. Love it!
Glad to hear! Cheers to great cooks ahead. 👍🏾
