Thank you very much for another great video! It is heart-warming and fun to watch two people who are obviously enjoying themselves and who love what they are doing! I share your assessment of the game... I played it for the first time and can't wait to get it to the table again. This is the first time I have played any COIN or COIN-adjacent game (although I own an unplayed copy of Liberty or Death)... and in that first game, I was able to teach it to another player who was unaware of this type of game. We both found the Events interesting and enticing, although we were both more likely to play them to deny them to our opponent. I hate to be the one to bring these up... but a couple of rules nit-picks... First, the amount of money that each player has is public information. I actually used this knowledge to plan activities knowing that my opponent didn't have enough money for a particular response. Second... (it is now part of the official FAQ)... Robin Hood can now ONLY play Robin Hood events and the Sheriff can only play Sheriff events. Apparently... too many edge cases were arising if the opponent events were played.
I played this for the first time Saturday with my wife and we both loved it. We found out afterwards that we did a couple things wrong during play so it has us eager to get it back to the table and get it right. Great fun though. Thanks for the video!
I just recently was able to find and purchase(bid) on a copy of The British Way and already had Gest so I agree whole heartedly Gest is a great intro to B.W. Great review, its always fun to watch a review where the game is really enjoyed. Looking forward to a playthrough later.
The art is great, the production quality isgreat, and a @watchitplayed how to play video... GMT killed it with this one. best game of the year for me so far.
After all these years this is the first ever board game I've seen with my obscure old hometown on the map. Guess I'd better buy it then! Thanks for the review fellas.
Glad you guys liked it! I think Gest is great for a single game, but the campaign and the narrative of that for TBW is SOOO good so it’s fair to have both on the shelf!
In the theme of the old ‘Keep on Truckin’ T-shirts from days of yore, I’m recommending you make available TPA shirts ‘Keep on NOT Editing!”. You gents are ALWAYS entertaining and informative! I’m always guaranteed a great laugh! Great review!
Was not expecting this to be a "wife game", but she really liked it. Thank Walt for that cartoon! :) As for me, I like this WAY more than the 4P COIN system. And as you guys said, what beautiful package.
Love the game too. I also found that there are ambiguities on some cards, this is the only downside that I see. The three booklets are very good. But, FWIW, money is public information. You shouldn't hide it behind the screens.
I have a copy of Ukraine 43. I am from Chicagoland area but in Indianapolis today Tuesday July 16th and July 17th. Please reply if interested and we can figure out a meet. Thank you! Vince
Da Avlon Hill legends of robin hood game was gudd ,,,, , i think he game designed storm over Arnhem and Up Front ,,, courtney f allen , cheers, just sayin 👍

Great fun! Thank you both.
"We digest"...awesome unintentional slip! :)
Big cards and nice artwork are an obvious match.

Great review guys! I would get it if I had a steady opponent!

Enjoyed listening to your thoughts - I've just ordered this online and can't wait to play it with my partner!

I enjoy your videos. Keep it up guys.
I second the idea of a play through.
And, a new TPA shirt: “We digest…”
Cheers fellows!
Really appreciate your time guys!
Great video! WBC is 5 days away.... See you there.

I'm fairly noob regarding GMT games, and so far I own only Twilight Struggle Red Sea.
How does it compare to A Gest of Robin Hood?
Excellent reviews, can't wait 4 the play though , this doesn't look solo at all ,,,,,Smashing review, that's why games are so Visceral, ta 🐬🌊

Just going to say the you pronounce “gets” like this “jest”, yeah I will be that guy for this video 😊
lol, no worries, we corrected it in the upcoming playthrough in a few days!

Robin Hood is Reggie Jackson?!
Would love to hear an update on how it played with your father-in-law.
do we thrive in negative criticism? maybe not tonight?
Ratatouille hehe
Not from the players aid. I almost never hear anything negative from them. Its actually a double edged sword though.
Now the question is… gest or gest? 🤔
[Guest or Jest]
Still waiting for the continuation of the Labyrinth explanation videos :( Guess that is dead in the water at this point?
😅 I might revisit those

White and red pawns?
For marking which spaces you're doing plots in.
purely a mnemonic to remember where you've done stuff in a turn, or to help you plan.
