I love the complexity in Zappa's music. A lot of other music is just boring and flat in comparison. Nice to see the guitar part. There is a lot going on.😜
This is brilliant. Bravo. Amazing. Frank Sapa was my next-door neighbor when I lived in Wassenaar Holland from 1979-1972. My sister used to babysit Moon and Dwiezel. I remember him as being very funny and very kind. He actually gave me my first guitar lesson. And it is the reason why always loved Les Paul custom’s. You did an absolutely incredible job with this. C'était absolument fantastique

That is quite an honor! Few people can say took lessons with him! Glad you liked the video!
@@biggusdickus1689 absolutely. First off he stuck this big black heavy electric guitar on my lap. It was a Les Paul custom. When I got older I was able to identify this Guitar repeatedly. He showed me a G chord. He told me to just play it and mess around with it and just create as many kind of sounds and nuances that I felt like. He told me just to do things with it until it sounded and felt good. He said don’t listen to people who tell you it has to be done a certain way. I remember that distinctly. Also in the summer of 1972, as my sister was the babysitter of Moon and dweezle when he was a baby, my sister had to go with the zappers backstage at a concert that Frank was doing in Vondel Park in Amsterdam. Also playing were two bands who lived three doors down the street from us in the other direction on a corner. They both live together in the same house and used to rehearse in a shed behind the house and we could hear it. They were the band Golden Earring and focus. So at this concert were those three bands, Frank Golden Earring and focus. Also Paul McCartney as a solo act and Pink Floyd who debuted their record Darkside of the moon before it was released. That was my very first concert that I attended backstage with the Zappa family. 😊
Man, to have heard that song my entire life and marvelled, to actually see it, the inherent symmetry, the brain frying logic more apparent. For any Zappa fan, you've brought great joy by demystifying and showcasing what sometimes is missed, good on you
I am 45 years old. I discovered Zappa around 25 years of age and instantly fell in love! 20 years this has been my favorite album above any other! I can sing all the main parts (Franks vocals) and know the words like the back of my hand. Would love to collab with you!!
I saw the last Frank Zappa show ever performed in America on Long Island at Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale New York in 1988. It was the last American show before he went to Europe and then ended his touring
Fantastic job!!
wow, thanks so much! your channel is the best!
André Grion wow thank you so much!
Doesn't miss a note that I can hear. Top notch player for sure. I didn't realize how technical this song is, with Frank it's expected

The same here
Wow!
