Can’t see why they keep calling Palmer the king when he didn’t transcend the game. He played well but so has Tiger, and Tiger moved the game forward to where every player today and beyond will benefit from Tiger. Roll call: Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, Muhammad Ali, Jackie Robinson, all transcended their respective sport. But back to golf, Tiger is by far the best golfer ever....
How would you know that Palmer didn't transcend the game. He did it in his time and doing it back then was more impressive then now because there wasn't all the media like in Tigers time. Btw. In the 1998 master's Jack Nicklaus was 58 years old and tied for 6th place! Tiger finished tied for 8th in that Masters! Jack kicked his butt at 58 years old. Lol
@@CamaroKidd2022 unfortunately that’s your opinion. It wasn’t more impressive when you only bring people to the game that look like you, as the game wasn’t fair to people of color, when you can’t play because the color of your skin. Once you do get to play being threatened death, you don’t belong etc.. playing on course where they have all black workers doing all the labor. So when Tiger won his first masters all the black employees were proud to see someone like Tiger win. In order to transcended a sport you have to bring other cultures which will bring more revenue. And Tiger accomplished that not Palmer or Jack because it was designed and much easier for them because it was(white only sport) given as where it was earned by Tiger. Also, I can’t leave out Arthur Ashe(tennis)as well. When your black you have to deal with adversity that exceed the said sport that comes with hate, anger, all because of you skin, and that alone is why Tiger and those listed transcended their sport. But I to understand why you might not feel that way, but it’s predictable behavior that you and many suffer from.. Thank you and enjoy your day!
@@Weare30186 you are way off base with what I was saying. What I said has nothing to do with race and I wasn't thinking about race at all. Palmer an Nicklaus took the game beyond what it had seen B4 which is transcending. Transcending isn't all about race at all.
@@CamaroKidd2022 unfortunately it is about race. Because if it wasn’t blacks would have always been able to participate. Many blacks caddie for those that they were better than. In order to transcended it has to be equal and we both know and understand it’s never been equal. When you get a head start at some thing it’s never fair. Race always plays a factor. Not off base and I fully understood your position but fair is fair and it hasn’t been fair. One group has done more work than the other group to prove they belong. Respectfully..

Amazing to look back at this and know that Tiger’s personal life during this period was a near constant orgy of lies, sex, and infidelity. It’s astonishing he dominated to level he did while keeping his behind the scenes demons off the public radar for years. The sheer amount of effort and stress that must’ve taken, combined with the maintaining of his physical, mental, and swing form to continue winning at the pace that he did, a pace that may never been seen again... the mind boggles.

Meaning that he was able to juggle the many, many, dirty little secrets he kept - any number of which could’ve been a nuclear bomb if discovered - and be able compartmentalize them Thursday thru Sunday each week at a level not many achieve. Yes, the juggling act eventually DID fail, and the nuclear bomb exploded in spectacular fashion and the wind in his sails started to wane.

Unfortunately Tiger crashed his car, again, and this time shattered his leg into a million pieces, thus unceremoniously ending a career that -may- have seen him win a few more tournaments, and, with a bit of luck- maybe even a major or two.
Anyway, those dreams got taken out the back behind the woodshed and put down, and El Tigrè has only himself to blame for that.
Sean O' hair had so much promise in his early years. Pretty sad how far from grace he has fallen.
He's playing well right this minute
Ladies and gents, the swing o hair made at about 20:38 is about as pure as it gets.
Yup- I thought the same thing. The motion, the tempo, the sound of the ball coming off the face at the EXACT sweet-spot... it was fundamentally goddamn, perfect.
I could almost feel that strike in my own hands when I saw/heard it...🤤
(I assume you’re speaking of the swing at 19:50, that got analyzed after)
@@artieborko4988 big man to cuss when you talk
Great shot at 27:30
Love Sean O'hair's swing
Just shows that one’s own father can beat you into greatness.....lol
Might be his best clutch Sunday ever
dude i couldn’t be his caddy i’d be getting way too hyped up. After every shot i’d be like GOD DAMN this mans a monster !!!!
You would have to include GOD in it wouldn't you?
incredible performance absolutely he is the GOAT.
My hero!
Love his pants... I wish Tiger would wear these kind today and not those very skinny ones!
Nike won’t be able to sell gear if that happened
@@mfanakithi2002 I mean they could probably have more than just one fit of pants in their lineup!
That line from Dan Hicks " A storybook comeback win" will be remembered.
Bill Hicks was one of a kind. One of my favorite comedians
38:46: Why would he be aiming at the archway? Because that's why. 😂😂

He’ll be back 🐐
How has that aged for you so far? I like Tiger, but his winning days are long gone.
At this time, Tiger really was a monster.
that no one dared to cross
The key word there is WAS.
Sean O'Hair's worst nightmare, leading into the final day and getting paired with Tiger.
Wtf just cut out the 17th hole were it was tied up again, like what happened?
This magical Tiger golf will always be a joy to watch...sure would like to see some of that Tiger golf..but I'm afraid its had its time and now we see just regular Tiger unfortunately...((
Tiger Woods is still at his time.
I've been a Tiger fan since the beginning but boy I felt for O'hair .... shit, my stomach turned for that young man.
O'hair had/has a beautiful golf swing
Sean O’hair shit the bed here 100%, as he did on a number of other occasions, as well. He has an absolutely beautiful swing, but just doesn’t have it between the ears, it seems. If he did, he could be one of the top 30 golfers ever.
But then again, if my aunt had balls she’d be my uncle. 🤷♂️
43:26 Okay Stevie make sure you're in the shot at all times 🤣😂
Sean was never the same after this tournament
This guy is good!!
39:52 - 40:25 Perfect camera angle.
@@Weare30186 but yes, Tiger did transcend the game also.
Those who Can, DO! Those who CAN'T talk!!!
the big cat is still winning in 2020, wheres the sean guy now? he surely swang good back then, kinda got a rory's move plus adam scott's finish.
It may be my memory but wasn’t the scandal like almost immediately after this? So glad to see him, not playing like THIS but finding a way to be the best with what his body will give him. One of the greatest pure athletes of all time.
It was like after the Australian Open.
@@artieborko4988 meanwhile Tom Brady gets a divorce and falls off the face of the planet. The goat of goats is obvious. Dude walked 90 holes of the most important golf tournament in the world with a liquified kneecap. I think about it every day.
@@artieborko4988 Tiger never dominated after the scandal. He had a few good year's after, but not very many.
@@TimesUp777 yeah? and when did I say he did? (I’ll try and avoid saying “goddamn” like I did in the other comment you replied to, lest I offend you. My apologies.
My comment was making the (clear) point that Tiger had an ENORMOUS amount of self-generated turmoil, lies, and deceit going on during some his most dominant years, yet it seems to have had little effect on his performance (on the course).
@38:40 why Tiger is the GOAT listen to the so called ''Experts''
This looks like the patriots vs falcons superbowl lol.
sean was never the same after that
Sean who?
I honestly think it’ll do him good now in 2023/24 if he just puts his guard down and give his bag back to Steve. They were made for each other on the golf course.
No matter what Tiger does, no matter how good these highlights are, there will always be thumbs down for Tiger because of who he is.
Get a life!
O'hairも頑張りましたが、やはり役者が一枚も二枚も違いましたねw
23:35 woman screaming "in the hole in the hole " hahaha 😆🤣
Is more like in my hole, in my hole!!!!!
I think he knows what he's doing LOL
Vices & Madonna that’s one of the best STFU moments by Tiger
