Two tremendous players each pulling their weight in a way that makes it look easy. Ms. Ezawa very good technically but also has tremendous soul... Piano player very creative but also supplying reliable percussion and bass to carry soloist.
I love the piano player !! She uses just enough bass notes to create the illusion of a walking bass line, yet still has time to chord with her left hand and place extensions on it with her right hand. She has great time, and she swings this Henry Mancini classic tune. It's too bad the alto player didn't give the pianist a solo. In jazz, every player is given a turn to take a solo in the tune. Perhaps next time.

最近はピッチがやや上ぶれするSax Playerが多い中で、江澤さんのイントネーション、アーティキュレーションそしてフレーズのアイデアは世界に通用する本物のジャズですね。ずっと聴いていたくなります。
