I really appreciate you tackled this quilt, but still, my #1 favorite is the star quilt from your first episode. I learned so much, and after (2?) years of quilting, I’m pretty sure I could FMQ with adequate finesse.

In a word……WOW!!!
So I have watched all seasons and rewatch because, let's face it, the vids are fun. nothing gets old. But I come back to this one, because I am in the process of making a mario quilt. the pattern is pix-elated. Each character, done with blocks that are 1.5 by 1.5 inches. put together to form the character. yes. when I get annoyed at how long it's taking, i remember this video and the half square triangle quick sand you got your self into. eventually it will be done and then i have to sew in the ditch on each line,horizontal and vertical, which makes the pixels pop. I think of you, and I laugh. Keeps me going and I imagine my brother's face when he receives it. thanks again for the fun videos. Without you as one of my teachers, I would have never found the love I have for quilting. God Bless!

Man i have been saying this about every one of the shows of her I watch... and have commented with no legit answer.... I wish i really knew how long it took her ..they make it seem like its done all in on e night and unless she has some one helping her i dont see how that is possible... if it is I need to meet with her and find out her secret.

I love love love this quilt. It is just beautiful. I don't normally go for really small piecing. It tends to drive me bonkers. But the effect is absolutely gorgeous. I think I will have to give this one a try!

I love the piecing it is the quilting that gives me stress. I guess I need to find someone who likes the quilting better to make a perfect team. Really like this quilt. I have made 3 - one planned and 2 scrap and I love the triangles but I usually make a large center and then do a bunch of borders - also randomly (sort of) pieced. I do arrange as I go along.

A very striking quilt! Two things about it, though, would make me nuts: squaring up all those HSTs and if my points didn't match. Relatively easy to piece, however. Really beautiful.
