I don’t see this happening very often until the cable starts to dive and you have to fix it. Why don’t you design a system to keep tension on the cable at all times especially when going to the top of a turbine with a empty hook and bringing a rotor down? That would be more feasible...

Almost like a set of spring loaded nylon/ poly pads to grab the rope just above the drum.
Should make it removable or disengageable so that it doesnt cause premature wear the rope...

cause they us to purchase more cable and parts 3.6 million doesn't even give you a camera on the boom tip that's an extra 2 mill added

If you reeve without turnings in cable it would not twist ! , Liebherr has a system with a bushing on the end that can turn inside the attachment to boom / block (depending on reevings)
