Kyoyote is a popular group loved by all Koreans. It is a group that has many songs that are loved for a long time.
It is one of the legendary groups that everyone knows and sings a lot in Korea.
The main vocalist, Shin Ji, is famous for her ultra-high-pitched vocals, and on the left, Kim Jong-min is consistently active as the leader of the team and a popular entertainer representing Korea. The rapper on the right is also a photographer.
Everyone was in a bad condition today, but their songs are always songs that give joy to Koreans.
they must have a bunch of great songs, its the only group or artist that has 2 Killing Voices lol.... i look forward to hearing more from them
Shinji, a female member of Koyote, was originally a singer who had the advantage of treble.
However, during the singer 's activity,' vocal cord nodule 'came so badly that I could not make treble like before.
So the songs on Killing Voice were arranged in a low range.
Koyote was a mixed group that made its debut in 1998 and took the TOP of Korea.
I would like you to think that the original song is stronger and more exciting than the Killing Voice version.
I recommend you to react to Koyote's music.

The main singer pretty much is the boss of the group for the past decade. The other two have joked about that in variety shows often. The guy on the left is very famous for being regular cast in variety and concept shows. He's more well known as a comedic figure than a singer/performer, especially to the younger generations. She use to belt out power high notes, you should check out some of their old footage.
I know I've commented that co-ed groups were pretty popular in the past, but I might have forgotten to mention Koyote. That song at 12:36 is such a famous song in Korea, they kept using that track years later on tons of shows, but yes they have a lot of hits.

내가 코요테를 특별히 좋아한적은 없지만 코요테가 2000년 전후의 한국음악을 많이 대표하고 있다는것은 인정할수밖에 없다.
They are a big enough deal in Korea to be honored as the immortal singer on Immortal Songs. Mamamoo covered the third song, Meeting, on that show.

Wow I loved them 20 years ago and these old songs are taking me back that era. It is shame that she used to sing on higher key before she had problem on her voice but am glad she still can sing.

Since they've been on the scene for such a long time, songs represented in part 1 are the ones that are known to relatively older generations, so I highly recommend reviewing part 2, with songs that they performed during mid-2000s ❤❤❤

Kim Jong Min the goofiest and most laid back member eventhough he is the leader of the group 😂. He is also a member in 2 days 1 night variety show. Shinji can be consider the main vocalist because she can sing at any range and basically she is like the leader because she's more serious compare to Jong Min, wherelse Baekga is the rapper.
The female member of the Coyotes had vocal cord nodules. I have overcome it now, but it is currently difficult to hit high notes. In the past, Coyote members were a team of singers who mainly sang high-pitched dance songs. Among them, Shinji, a female member, was the only singer in Korea who could reach high notes that no one could match. In the song "실연" that appears in the video, Shinji has to hit a high note up to 3 octaves, so. But I can't do that now. People were fascinated by the high notes, and Shinji had no choice but to continue singing songs that included high notes. This put a lot of strain on my throat and I developed vocal cord nodules. Even now, no singer can surpass her high notes, and she remains a legend.
Omg. Got flashback memories to seeing them perform 순정 live when they were 18 and I was 13 in Los Angeles. You can't not like Koyote. They always had the best summer jams, their songs were always included in the kpop summer megamix CDs sold in the late 90's and early 2000's. Writing this mid video but wondering if they will sing the song Megan Trainor sampled without crediting for All About That Bass.
Koyote was my first Kpop love! If you ever need more of this in your system, they released a Part 2 recently :) edit-- oops, you addressed that like five seconds after I typed it haha

Kim Jong-min is both a singer and a comedian.🤣🤣🤣
Kim Jongmin, the guy on the left, is probably the most famous as he he is a big variety star. He is very funny. Shin Ji, the woman is pretty much the leader. She is also the only original member left, as the two guys joined later as other members left and were replaced.
You saw Jongmin when you watched performances for the Uhm Jung-hwa Immortal Songs episode as he reprised his role as a backup dancer.
If I was to recommend a song for Flashback Thursday it probably would been the Woah song. Though I don't know if the MV is up on UA-cam. I do remember looking and having some issues. Though really, I think seeing them like this is better.
how long were the original members in the group?
- Oh ok, ill have to rewatch that again to make the connection. I didnt see anything listed as Woah, at least on youtube.
- i love the dingo channel, having a medley of songs like this makes it so easy to know if you will vibe with a group or not
@@BestFriendsReact A few years, but I think these 3 have been the only members for the last 20 years. I don't know remember the actual title of the song, but it was the one with the "woah" part. It is the second to last song.

The male vocal, Kim Jongmin has joined the group in year 2000, when they released their 3rd album, after the original male vocal, participating in two albums. Since then, Kim Jongmin has been part of the group until now, and he is, in fact, the leader of the group(even though everybody thinks Shinji is the leader)
However, there has been constant replacement of rappers. When they were recording 4th album, Kim Goo, who was the rapper and the leader, had to leave the group due to consuming drugs that were illegal in Korea(and the team had really hard time). After his department, they've performed 4th album and released 5th album with guest rappers. Bbaekga, the current rapper has joined the group when they released 6th album as a guest member and became permanent member when they released their 7th album.
BTW, back then, it wasn't very common to release EP or singles. Singers often released full album with more or less than 15 tracks and made stages with two to three tracks for a year.
Also, Shinji and Kim Jongmin still have contact with former members! Especially, Kim Goo is currently working as a voice actor, and he has recorded an opening narration for Koyote's first concert in the year 2019!
