Howdy Again! Great list and the Bardstown has risen to the top for me as well…also Bowman Bros single Barrell! Have to say Jaime was in the background making that 1920 pick! Never go wrong with the JD and WT ! Saddle up! 🇺🇸🇨🇱🥃
Thanks for the tips, I'm A little new on my Bourbon journey, been a Jack Daniels fan for years. love your picks, lately I drink the WT 101 I like a lot, I just found the Knob Creek 9 and liked it. I also just discovered 1792 Small Batch which I find is a great drinking Bourbon. So much fun to find all these Bourbons and try them.
Yeah I’d add coppers craft but other than that you nailed it. I have all of these always. I don’t chase allocated so these are my bottles that I enjoy!! Yes there are more but I could be happy with these for the rest of my life. Enjoy!!
Larceny Barrel Proof for $60 is one of my favorite values but it depends on the batch, similar to ECBP. C922/B523/C923 are some of the best I’ve ever tasted.
Other than the JD and 13th Colony (passed on it last week), I've had them all and fully agree! Ive been a KC fanboy for a while. Both the 100 and 120 proof. How do you go wrong with 9 yr age stated. 2024 is going to be an interesting year for the Whiskey community and I look forward to drinking more value bottles. Cheers and great topic!
Four Roses Small Batch ($26), Russells Reserve 10 yr($33), Wellers Special Reserve($28), Blue Note Juke Joint($27) are my steady everydays. All readily available here in my area in TX.
Absolutely 👍 JD/SB,BP is totally outstanding! I can’t find it in Western Kentucky but my daughter gets it for me in southern Ohio. Haven’t seen the Rye yet but would love to try it. ❤️👍😎
Great list, and both Old Forester's and Wild Turkey's are faves. I have tried the rest. If I added another it would be Coopers Craft 100. For about $30 near me it is well above its price point.
I need to check my cabinet to make sure you didn’t raid it! I typically have 5 of the 8 you mentioned. But I trade off the OF 100 occasionally with WT 101. WT 101 Rye is generally there. And I do have a Knob Creek 120 proof store pick, and a Bardstown that I haven’t opened. Cheers! 🥃
Great video and great list. I keep both of the Wild Turkey products on hand. Just picked up a 13th Colony on a recent Dallas trip.I need to get some Old Forester and the Bardstown Origins white label, I have and love the BIB black label. I like Larceny, Coopers Craft and Bulleit Rye in the $35 and under area. I also love Redwood Empire and Still Austin stuff😋🥰
Nice lineup, I think it's missing OGD 114 though. For that kind of flavor for $32 you just can't beat it. Name one? And it makes the absolute BEST old fashioneds. And I've tried about 35 different combinations.
Great list ! Still haven't tried anything from 13th colony yet. I've only heard of it being available at 2 or 3 stores here in KY and it's not available very long when it's there.
Old Forrester Rye, Knob Creek 9, WT101, Michters American Whiskey, Very Old Bartons 100 prf, Redwood Empire Lost Monarch, Weller Special Reserve, Buffalo Trace. Thats my 8. I know the Weller and BTrace isnt always findable but when i do, theyre reasonable. Ive never found a Coopers.
Hey David, great video. I've never seen Bards town or 13 colonies here in Oklahoma. We have a huge problem just finding buffalo trace! Any special edition of Jack is unfindable here too. I wish we had a better selection. I would love to try some of those.
Comparing preferences, I would almost match your choices head on. Thisclose. But that's not the point. The point is that it's a really good video on the subject matter, you kinda nailed it with this one.
I agree 100% that JDBP rye is the best value out there. In my opinion it's among the best whiskeys available regardless of price. I'm lucky to live near the distillery and it's always available at the White Rabbit shop for $72 out the door.
That is a good list. I can't get the 13th colony and Bardstown and have not tried the JD rye yet but like both of the OF products I have really enjoyed. I tend to prefer the OF 86 over the 100. I do not like the WT products as much but they are good values.
I talked my brother into buying a Knob Creek 9 when we were in the liquor store and I talked it up as being a good consistent pour. We got it home and it was NOT good, horribly disappointed and I'm not sure my brother will ever believe me again...
Oh man that sucks! I'm sorry I led you astray. I've had great luck with them in the past, but your experience with KC9 was similar to my 2nd bottle of RR10
Can't say you led me astray, I have a KC9 of my own that I enjoy and have considered it a good pour... It's just something with the bottle and/or batch my brother picked up. It was bad...
I can get a Remus Gatsby Reserve @$250+tax. Should I pick up one (2-3)??? BTW it has been on the shelf for weeks. Reluctant to buy at that price Thoughts
I would not argue against any of your choices except the OF 1920, to me, the OF 100 is a better pour overall, more flavourful and less expensive. That is just my opinion, and probably shared by no one. Overall though, it is a great list. For me, I would bump the 13th Colony for Driftless Glen(one I can get, the other I can't), and the OF 1920 for Ben Holladay Rickhouse Proof. In my area, there is only about a 7 dollar difference in price, and I much prefer the Ben Holladay.
Y'all for real..... Rebecca creek double oaked. For 65 bucks this is hands down bottle of the year. 70 to 90 on your secondary groups. Punches up into the 200 to 300 dollar whiskey range. Incredible value here
The Bardstown to me has an odd aftertaste, maybe it’s the peach you describe but I’m not a fan. Along with Evan Williams bib I’d also add Rebel 100. Ps…Hey I was the 500th like, do I get a prize?🎉

Coopers Craft 100 for $30 by me. It is an unbelievable value. Lots of sweet Carmel and vanilla.
Dud, I LOVE that Coopers 100.
Coopers may have topped old grand dad 114 as my value bourbon.
Yessir! Polished off a few of them. Going to pick up another one as soon as I can find it!
My under 30 bottom shelf list, WT 101, Old Forester 100, Evan Williams BiB, Early Times BiB, Old Tub, Buffalo Trace.
Great list. I'd add Evan Williams BIB, JTS Brown BIB, Early Times BIB, and OF Rye. For $26 the OF Rye is so good. Thanks for your videos!
Good stuff! Thanks 🙏
Howdy Again! Great list and the Bardstown has risen to the top for me as well…also Bowman Bros single Barrell! Have to say Jaime was in the background making that 1920 pick! Never go wrong with the JD and WT ! Saddle up! 🇺🇸🇨🇱🥃
100% on the JJ Bowman! I would have added it to the list but it is so hard to find in VA and not available in some states too
Thanks for the tips, I'm A little new on my Bourbon journey, been a Jack Daniels fan for years.
love your picks, lately I drink the WT 101 I like a lot, I just found the Knob Creek 9 and liked it.
I also just discovered 1792 Small Batch which I find is a great drinking Bourbon.
So much fun to find all these Bourbons and try them.
This list is perfect. Totally aligned. And kudos for calling out the pro sports obsession! Never really understood that one.
What a fantastic line up. I have every bottle on my shelf and replace every one when I kill it. Great show as usual.
Nice list. For me, I'd have to add Redwood Empire's "Lost Monarch" whiskey - IMO, one of the best bang for the buck whiskeys out there.
Awesome brother.😝👊 Part 2 please.❤❤❤🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲💯💯💯🥃🥃🥃 Thanks from down under New Zealand.🥝🌿🌏🌏🌏😎🤘👏👏👏
Yeah I’d add coppers craft but other than that you nailed it. I have all of these always. I don’t chase allocated so these are my bottles that I enjoy!! Yes there are more but I could be happy with these for the rest of my life. Enjoy!!
101, rare breed, cooper's craft, Evan Williams white label, old forester 100, Four roses single all hanging out in the speak easy.
Great list. I’d add Chattanooga 111. OF 1920 is king of this category, though.
Fair enough! It's a solid bottle for sure
Larceny Barrel Proof for $60 is one of my favorite values but it depends on the batch, similar to ECBP. C922/B523/C923 are some of the best I’ve ever tasted.
Had no doubt that you would mention Rare Breed ! Don’t know why but my local Walmart had these on clearance for $25 . I bought a case on the spot .
Old Forrester 1920 and 1910 are two of my favorites, irregardless of value.
I agree with all of Davids selections. I have 6 of them on my bar and always have them all the time. He's spot on with his choices.

Grabbed two of the JD SBBP Ryes last weekend. Can’t find them anywhere.
Absolutely 👍 JD/SB,BP is totally outstanding! I can’t find it in Western Kentucky but my daughter gets it for me in southern Ohio. Haven’t seen the Rye yet but would love to try it. ❤️👍😎

Coops Craft is a great one I should have considered! All the BBC Origin are great
Outstanding list, great video. Thanks for putting in out. I appreciate that they are mostly all obtainable.
Thanks, I tried to pick bottles people can get one way or another
@@WhiskeyRow you very much succeeded.
Totally agree on WT Rare Breed 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
I recently found a Sam's Club store pick of Knob Creek 9 120 proof for $44....Best deal ever.... So good!
Nice lineup, I think it's missing OGD 114 though. For that kind of flavor for $32 you just can't beat it. Name one? And it makes the absolute BEST old fashioneds. And I've tried about 35 different combinations.
The king of value is still OGD114. close second is Benchmark FP.
I like OGD 114 a lot, but find many people don't love the taste in that one
@duckontherun932 I couldn't agree more! 🥃
Great list ! Still haven't tried anything from 13th colony yet. I've only heard of it being available at 2 or 3 stores here in KY and it's not available very long when it's there.

Cannot disagree! Throw in a Evan Williams BIB & id get this list tattooed on me lol
😂😂😂
Comparing preferences, I would almost match your choices head on. Thisclose. But that's not the point. The point is that it's a really good video on the subject matter, you kinda nailed it with this one.
I'll see your Knob Creek regular 9 year and up you with the 120 proof for $60. Same great juice at a better proof. Yum
Awesome picks and all are pretty much available. With these choices, we all should do the crazy hunting a lot less!!!!!
This is the best list I've seen.
I agree 100% that JDBP rye is the best value out there. In my opinion it's among the best whiskeys available regardless of price. I'm lucky to live near the distillery and it's always available at the White Rabbit shop for $72 out the door.
13th Colony is one of my favorites and go to...distillery tour is cool too
Yeah, they are turning into one of my favorite distilleries
The Jack Daniel’s rye barrel proof sadly is allocated in my state.
Luv JD single barrel !!!!!!!
That is a good list. I can't get the 13th colony and Bardstown and have not tried the JD rye yet but like both of the OF products I have really enjoyed. I tend to prefer the OF 86 over the 100. I do not like the WT products as much but they are good values.
Try one of the online retailers, they have some of those and might be able to ship to you
Juke joint uncut unfiltered 40 to 45 bucks. Old grand dad 114 26 bucks
I talked my brother into buying a Knob Creek 9 when we were in the liquor store and I talked it up as being a good consistent pour. We got it home and it was NOT good, horribly disappointed and I'm not sure my brother will ever believe me again...

My Total Wine has 1.75L of Evan Williams BiB for $26.99. Now that’s insane value.
I can get a Remus Gatsby Reserve @$250+tax. Should I pick up one (2-3)??? BTW it has been on the shelf for weeks. Reluctant to buy at that price Thoughts
First 🙌🏼😂😂😂

In one of your videos you mention creating poor mans pappy by mixing Weller 12 and Weller Antique 107. What ratio do you use.
Hey, what I heard was 60% 107 and 40% 12
I have not been able to find the JDSBBP rye! Around here they tell me more will be dropping this summer. I sure hope it is soon than later!
Yeah, that one is still tricky to get hands on, but hope it becomes a shelf sitter soon
@WhiskeyRow me too I did see it one time but they wanted 150 for it
Knob 9 is $27 out-the-door at WA State Costcos. I've gone through more of them than anything else. OF #2, then WT 101 #3 in how many I've killed
That is a great price!!!!
Thanks. Some of these ive had and love kc9 and 101 all day every day. i'd add in 20$ rebel 100 sleeper. Or rittenhouse rye 26$
I recently purchased old Forester 1910 and wild turkey Rare Breed at the same time. Old Forester $61.00 and the wild turkey was $68
Great bottles for sure, hope you enjoy them as much as I do
I would not argue against any of your choices except the OF 1920, to me, the OF 100 is a better pour overall, more flavourful and less expensive. That is just my opinion, and probably shared by no one. Overall though, it is a great list.

Four Roses Small Batch Select, Green River Bourbon, Penelope 9 year & Evan Willams 1783 are a couple more fantastic values in Whiskey.
David you just shopped in my wheelhorse.
How did you leave Four Roses Single Barrel off the list?
It is a great pour for sure, maybe should have done top 10 instead of 8!
I would add Pikesville and Rittenhouse Ryes...
I can't argue on the pikesville, but I've never been a fan of Rittenhouse as it doesn't align well with my palate
You may that love certain bourbons but watch watch was sells the best.
What's a good website to order from??
Mellow Corn in cocktails is the best value I've seen.
Never tried it in cocktails... gonna have to try it
Kind of embarrassing: I buy rare breed every time I go in the liquor store....
I just realized I have 6 bottles in reserve...oops! I love it!!!
Getting some zbiotics now
Thank you for the support!
Also, I hope you don’t get in trouble with your wife for not including OF 1910!!!!!!!
Not 1 MGP product
I guess you don’t like their profile.
