I never would have bought one of these, but like your friend, I got one of these as a freebie with an order I placed last fall. It's actually a pretty fun little knife, and I've carried it a couple times when I was going somewhere that I wasn't supposed to have a knife but knew I wouldn't be searched. It's always nice to have something inconspicuous that you wouldn't care about losing.
Oh I totally understand that. And yes that’s about the only reason I see for this piece.

Edit: I think it's interesting an theres a kool factor to it but let's face it there's not much practicality Utilitarian or self defense wise, Vs a regular 2inch folder

Eh it’s a gimmicky knife for sure. Not something I would rely on for safety.

Smaller than an Oreo? And it's on the neck, but stays attached to the lanyard? Sounds, well, less than deployable. Deplorable, maybe. Ha, a forty-dollar knife (term used loosely). I wonder how many better, cheaper budget knives are available right now...? What do I think? I think I would probably trade it for an Oreo slim. Thanks for the look. Gonna run right out and buy... something else.
I'm kinda done with Olight. I tried out all thier stuff and it was hokey.

🤣🤣🤣 "concealed carry with style" Chinese style has always been questionable at best in my opinion. Look, I love the lights. I don't leave home without a olight. The knives, the obulb toppers, the pens and this fancy product you are showcasing, fan boy swag that they push on all the girls in the Facebook groups that people put and shelf and take pictures of.... they need to just stop. The olight customer base will buy and regurgitated crap that they will slap O on for some reason exceptfor me. I just wish they would make a Warrior mini or the S1R OR S2R that is line X coated with better battery life and brighter that I can beat the crap out of and don't have to worry about the finish getting messed up. The new long skinny light they just dropped looks ok... the IT59000645 double stuffed triple XL long bullshit thing or whatever the name is 🤣 Sorry for the rant dude I just feel like olight, a company I use to love and tell my friends to buy is turning into the Beenie Baby maker of the edc world. And most of the folks on the olight social media pages just feel like beanie Baby collectors to me, come to mention it, my granny would probably love some olight "collectibles".🤣🤣🤣 Wonder if I'm the only.1 that feels this way?
You’re not wrong. I too like the lights but that’s about it. Don’t need yo get all gimmicky with stuff. The Beanie Baby is a GREAT analogy.
