My favourite death in BotW so far: A Hinox throws a rock at me, making me lose my grip on my metal box I was magnesing, and then the box landed right on top of his head doing a ton of damage, and then I leap from the cliff I was on and strike his eye in the process, but during his falling animation (when he falls on his ass) I landed right there, and I proceeded to watch my body roll down the rest of the cliff 100/10

Hey after some practice you can destroy the game. Like I’m actually beating the game without dying. But of course I am trying to do that with all the Zelda games. It just feels so rewarding.

One of the weirdest ways I (almost died) was during the trial of the sword. There was this room full of stationary guardians. One of them shot me, knocked me into the corner, abd lighting the grass on fire. Then, another one fires at me, but since I'm currently in my ragdolled state, the blast doesn't hurt me. But since I'm on fire, I'm slowly being roasted alive whilst the 2 guardians took turns shooting me.
Somewhere in Hyrule Castle, there are these 2 guardians, and if they spot you in the right order they can infinite you. They infinited me but eventually they lost their timing.
Futuristic technically includes anything that has a modern looking design (based on the definition Siri found for me), so it does qualify. But yea, it does sound quite ironic.
Actually in all seriousness, Toon Link was launched across the ocean and into a giant stone tower without taking damage. So things like "taking a ride on a rock" probably wouldn't even phase toon link.

I had the quadruple death almost happen to me. Was trying to see if Link could mount a bull and I guess the bull didn't like it because he charged me and knocked me backwards....right off this freaking huge cliff. So there goes Link falling down, hitting the side of the cliff, bashing his head against rocks as he does a perfect rag doll impersonation. I (being a little slow on the uptake) could not figure out why he hadn't died yet and that's when I finally realized (in a obvious duh moment) the fairy's I had were healing him over and over again lol. Poor Link had to roll and tumble his way down this huge ass cliff only to keep getting revived just to die again lol. Surprisingly he survived and made it to the bottom alive XD My uncle was sitting next to me watching me play and we where both laughing so hard we couldn't breath XD

give it a few years for botw hacking, jailbreaking the switch and wii u is still pretty tough and reliable botw emulation on pc (what pbg uses for his other hacking series) is still a long ways away

So, this is less a death story and more a horse story. After I finished off a skull full of moblins, and died a lot because I was just out of the tutorial, I found two moblins riding horses. And I decided: "I want a horse!" So I did the only logical thing and shot one of the moblins off and took his horse. I named it Romulus. Romulus is awesome. Shortly after registering him, I get chased around by two guardians, at this point without even finishing a dungeon. I get shot off Romulus, miraculously survive through a glitch, Romulus gets grazed by a beam, survives, gets set on fire, STILL SURVIVING, then got shot by a guardian. He died. Then I died. Anyway, recently, I stumbled across some travelers in danger, and after fighting one of the moblins, one of the travelers is stunned. It is at this point I notice Romulus standing in front of the moblins and generally being as helpful in combat as possible! I love that horse.
And that is only scratching the surface of what's actually possible in this game! It's insane what the physics-engine can do, you won't know until you play it! :D More people should play it instead of saying "it's overhyped" over and over again.
I accidentally stepped on them twice and she just got a little angry. I've never pissed her off to THAT degree though, just because I had a feeling that something bad would happen if I actually swung at them or something.

i had a double death once. I found a bunch of bats who hit me off a cliff, which ended up leaving me with the rock monster. I was dead but, just got revived until the rock guy ended my life what felt like 2 seconds after revival.
I swear I ALWAYS find a way to blow myself up! I died from doing so MULTIPLE TIMES during the Trial of the Sword, and during the Great Plateau segment of Champions' Ballad, my only death resulted from blowing myself up. Somehow, though I've beaten all Divine Beasts and Ganon, completed Trial of the Sword, finished every shrine and side quest, upgraded all my armor, earned the Medals of Honor from Kilton, and gotten most of the Koroks, I STILL find ways to suck
omg, I can totally relate to all these deaths when I play Zelda Breath of the wild. Its so funny. The only death I don't get is touching a boulder that isn't even moving XD

I swear I ALWAYS find a way to blow myself up! I died from doing so MULTIPLE TIMES during the Trial of the Sword, and during the Great Plateau segment of Champions' Ballad, my only death resulted from blowing myself up. Somehow, though I've beaten all Divine Beasts and Ganon, completed Trial of the Sword, finished every shrine and side quest, upgraded all my armor, earned the Medals of Honor from Kilton, and gotten most of the Koroks, I STILL find ways to suck
