Hydrosphere actually has a very powerful interaction with this combo, as every pulse counts the final repeat, so there are no "dead" casts. Problem being the clunkiness involved in actually freezing/shocking the sphere. I think it could potentially be the strongest skill to use for the combo, if anyone figures out a better way than the current method of using Wave of Conviction.

Also if you get +4 gem level from body armor the dps is almost same between the two. If you get +6 gem level from a GG skin of loyal, Plume will have less dps. And, Visage setup actually only needs ~100% (instead of ~200%) inc crit chance to cap crit chance So you may choose Plume setup if one or more of following met: 1. Must be a self cast spell, and can be supported by Spell Echo 2. Physical to ele conversion builds greatly preferred 3. Ele spells also works if you cannot get more than +4 gem level from body armor and support gems (excluding +3 from empower) 4. Have fast cast speed 5. Have a Templar character. Otherwise, Visage setup might be a more solid choice.
@@spiritkid9109 because plume setup adds phys damage on top of the base gem. If base gem has too high level, then the added phys from weapon will be less "more damage". Something like diminishing returns. While for visage setup, there's no such diminishing returns. For example, let's say the weapon adds 100 phys dmg, and base gem has 100 phys dmg, so the weapon gives 100% more damage; but if the base gem has 200 phys dmg, then the weapon only gives 50% more damage.
Amazing tech. I thought about this helmet earlier today but didn't think much of it, but it seems like you're really onto something. I've been going through every unique in the game trying to create a PoE mini game for my friends where we get assigned a random unique and have to make a build around it. This seems like a very cool idea. The only crappy part is being forced to use spell echo, which makes characters with low cast rate stand still a bit too long for my liking. Seems like fanaticism is truly the way to go here.

Hmmm nice idea, but the added damage is kinda low from this weapon... if you want to go other ascendancies, you can forget about the weapon and battlemage, and just use other unique or rare weapons, because the helmet itself gives you fixed 50% crit chance, and amulet gives ~290% multi.
There is probably a trick to make this work with BV. I don't know if it was patched or not. But. You use a Blade Blast trigger setup to explode the first blade when you cast with spell echo before the second spell echo cast completes. This means that the BV stacks were created with the stats of the repeated cast instead of the first cast.
I wonder if diallas malefaction + going champ with fatal flourish gems is actually more dps, you lose conc ground and cast speed but you gain 160% more damage from fatal flourish + diallas. Plus you get adren and aura effect. Or alternately it might be worth converting to cold on the tree and forbidden flame/flesh the crit strikes penetrate ele resist ascendancy notable

The helmet said "Spell" crits on final repeat, so I guess fatal flourish would not help here. 3. Diallas is definitely a great dps option, but may loose some defense...but still a option if go class cannon and delete ubers.....However, if with diallas and +4 gem level from implicit, actually Visage setup might be stronger. 4. The weapon already converts all damage to 75% ele and 25% chaos. I'm not sure if converting to cold would help. 5. The crit strikes ignore ele resist node is great, but I kinda feel it doesn't have good synergy with this build, since we need to self cast elemental weakness manually to trigger balance of terror, and this self cast elemental weakness combined with trinity already make uber bosses's ele resist to ~0...for forbidden jewel I'm actually thinking about "Sanctum of Thoughts" or "Radiant Faith" so we can add hatred aura which gives ~20% more damage.
Could you please give a pob for spark setup? what exactly did you change besides the gem and pierce support? Update: I figured out a decent spark setup, even fit in a nimis, dps goes through the roof (ubers feel like regular), and mapping too cuz zerphi's. Only weakness is vulnerability to oneshots, single big hits.
You really should turn down the texture on your map overlay and reduce the size of your minimap. The details just clutter your screen and make the mapoverlay a lot worse.
SO with this tech , you only deal damage every 2nd cast ,but you are guaranteed to crit every 2nd cast? Means out of 10 cast , 5 of it will do nothing?
The alt qual also gives less overall damage, so scaling it to 50 qual only gives 15% more overall damage than a 20%, so if using a unique for damage there are better options.
@@shumatsuplaran7251 its 20% less 60% more and 30% more quality would make it 50/150. That's going from 40% more to 100% more, so 60% more damage. And also get +2 to main skill and empower from red sockets. Damage is not diallas problem. The ratio is constant every 1% qual is 2% more damage.
@@SmthIcanNvrHave a 20% comes out to 128% of original base damage, and a 50% comes out to 125%. That isn't a huge difference. Lets pretend that original damage is 100. 20% less for a 20%, 80. 60% more from 80 is 128. a 50% qual is 50% less, so we have 50 damage. 150% of 50 plus 50 is 125. taking this version of spell echo to 50 qual actually does LESS damage than a 20% I was wrong last night and needed sleep my bad.
@@poenoob3925 What i was thinking about, because i really like your idea with the Elegant Hubris and Blunderbore is Reap. You could slap on a Awakened Spell Cascade with Reap and benefit from the AoE Scaling which is inherent in your build due to the permanent Massive Shrine and Fanatiscism. I think i am going to give this a try, however i am currently not liquid enought to buy Awakened Spell Cascade. Back top farming :>

One downside though is that, I have to replace all the Projectile Medium jewels with the notable "Repeater" which gives 8% inc attack and cast speed....without it, the leap slam will be slow (which is needed to trigger Fanaticism)

@@HansWurst-gm2rx Well, I switched to reap and it's much better than I expected...for leap slam attack speed, I sacrificed granite flask and use silver flask instead (gives ~40% asp and ms)...also seems don't need Exsanguinate for clearing, as awakened cascade + reap + explode flask just explodes the whole screen with one tap. Not to mention the single target, which is ~120M now.
also be noted that POB does not respect the "final repeat always crit" so the DPS is not accurate at all. You can put something like "+999% to Spell Critical Strike Chance" in the customize modifier in the POB config, so the crit chance will be capped at 50%.

Why can't you get a GG skin of the loyal with the Plume setup?

i only did the gem swap, you can also replace the added fire damage support with a better blue support gem if color allows.

I went pain attunement in the customize box in the POB configuration, because in game I anointed it on my Sanctified Relic.
