Hey Ya'll! I am a behavioral health nurse that lives 5 houses off the Pigeon river in Canton, NC. My house, along with almost every other house on our small dead end road was flooded. I had about 3 feet of water in my house and I'm not complaining. I can't. I was able and did make some small, half-hearted preparations for an evacuation because my house had never flooded before to my knowledge. I even felt some pride in the fact that I had been able to evacuate my 3 dogs and 8 cats, 1 of which is 85% feral. I have lost no living beings important to me. I can't complain. I can not begin to describe how devastatingly overwhelming it is to maintain full time work (haven't missed a shift), remove everything you own from your house and salvage what you can by washing it all, rip your house apart, and photograph and inventory every thing the storm destroyed. During all that you have to figure out where to live in the mean time, where to store salvaged belongings, pay your mortgage, contact insurance, FEMA, the county, and find a available contractor. And then you must reassure each other that things will be okay, make the pets think this is all an adventure, reassure folks that you're okay, try to take a few naps, eat something, and not feel guilty when your smile slips because others are truly in worse shape and have lost more. I have watched several of your videos and those of others with great appreciation and purpose. When I am feeling overwhelmed by the struggle of my situation, your videos and others remind me that so many others have a far greater mountain to climb than I. These videos also provide voices of encouragement that our fellow countrymen and women are supporting us to the best of their abilities to make that climb and I can't/won't let them down. Thank you for continuing to put out the content that feeds me when I'm feeling weak. On this video you are talking to and about folks wanting and trying to help, or that have been helping. On my street it was the local Crestview Baptist Church that delivered 2 hot meals a day for weeks, the usual cleaning/toiletry supplies, and anything anybody thought to ask for. They than proceeded to call in an organization called The Baptist Men who showed up with a small, but powerful battalion of volunteers from eastern NC with knowledge and experience of storm clean up. These angels in yellow helped every house on our street that had been flooded to remove the drywall, insulation, flooring, and spray the mold inhibitor to allow the houses to dry out appropriately for safe restoration. A true miracle. Now in this video ya'll are talking about government interference and short comings. As someone in this position for the first time ever, I would like to point out some that I am struggling with that should be relatively obvious. Quite simply...Now what? How do I proceed? I am fortunate to have flood insurance, but can't get a general contractor. They are all overwhelmed with work already. We need an estimate from a contractor to pull a permit and find out if our house needs to be raised because of the new flood zoning. Organizations such as Habitat or The Baptist Men aren't able to help me because I'm insured. And I get it. Maybe some contractors could volunteer some help along these lines for folks like myself? I don't feel like I am the only one struggling with this. Another question from someone brand hammer new to flood recovery: Who is in charge of decisions when restoration begins: insurance, mortgage company, county, or me? What is the pecking order in that list? I'm sure they all think they are, but at the end of the day, I'm paying. What do you do if the insurance company and the contractor have vastly different numbers? Why is there no simple place to get this kind of information for people that have never been through it? Perhaps some guidance from those that have tragically been before. Which leads to my last and most important question. Where is the emotional support? Shouldn't there be some professionals with boots on the ground in each of these areas of devastation helping people cope with the stress of it all? I have already had the experience of working with people on my hospital behavioral health unit who are there because of the storms toll on their psyche. These are all things that should be available in a prepared, streamlined, and accessible way for ALL the effected communities. Perhaps it is in some of the other bigger or more important places, but it isn't here in Canton, NC. Sorry this is so lengthy, but this video really moved me to point out some other needs that just aren't even getting honorable mentions anywhere. Thank you for reading. LOVED the song! Very moving.
Agree, thankyou for sharing. Ppl need a logistics handbook for when any disaster hits. USA is a country that gets severe weather and fires nationwide, but i see ppl are just not prepared how to recover.
Thank you for the post Regina, I've never been thru anything like this so I can't really help you but unfortunately, the most important thing I learned, and I think it's shocking, is that there is not mental and emotional support available, like you said! What in the name of God is our government thinking to not be giving these poor people the support they need,,,I'm truly shocked and saddened at this. I am in NWPA and from the beginning I've been praying that the people get help with the emotional stress of all this. We helped to fill semi trucks from our small town and gladly donate $$, but that is only a small part of their needs. The PTSD will be huge devastation if they don't have help,,,I'm praying there are lots of open healers and helping hands around. God bless you and I hope you get answers you need 😢🙏
To answer your question, your ultimately in charge,,,,,call insurance company first, call county/government , and then you call your mortgage company to let them know you have handled your homeowners insurance and if you’re making house/mortgage payments and this flood has displaced you then ask for a extension on payment s with no penalties. Good luck and god bless
@@reginastrugnell2345 as a mental health professional I think you know we have to be licensed to work in each state. Some states do have a variety of exceptions to that rule in a state of emergency, depending on where you are. One issue of bringing outside folks in, is just like with other volunteers- where would they stay? All the hikers and army folks may have plenty of gear and know how to camp but I certainly don’t. Nor could I chainsaw in to help. My ability to ethically provide care in that situation could also be compromised depending on what the circumstances are. In response to your question, these are unfortunate barriers to treatment. Thank you for continuing to work to support your community while also being so affected. I don’t think I could ethically do the same.
Hello from northeast Washington state! Until I retired 3 years ago, I lived in Maggie Valley for 25 years. I know what's happened to the Canton area over that time. I looked into getting natural disaster insurance for my house. I was concerned about the real possibility of mudslides and wildfires, but as a single mother, working as a para professional in community mental health (Dual Dx, IDD w/ blindness, deafness or physically disabled. CMI, too here and there), I just couldn't afford it. And I think if I were in your shoes, I'd be calling and writing the state's insurance commissioner and strongly request they temporarily allow licensed building inspectors and contractors from other counties to come in and do what needs to be done. I'd also strongly request the state insurance commissioner have a serious discussion with your flood insurance company. They've been making a profit for years and years. They need to pay up now like they're supposed to. Surely you're not the only one with flood insurance in NC that needs answers and quickly. About the mental health challenge: Again, seems to me it's time to go to the state's Public Health Commissioner to lay some quick ground work and get all those contracted community mental health agencies to go out in the field. I bet they're swamped already, though and anything I have to say about that IS political. And what about your mental health? Seriously, here you are, a dedicated mental health professional helping others shift after shift after shift and then coming home for more physically hard and emotionally loaded work day after day after day while being frustrated by the policies of the the very insurance that you paid for to help you in time of need! What is your hospital doing to help YOU and the other employees cope?
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. The public needs to understand what the total effects of this disaster. You are doing a great service making these videos.
I'm here from Patera @ Appalachia Homestead with Patera" You all have been the hands & Feet of Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you ALL for everything you are doing for our American Brother's & Sister's.
Wonderful job. My daughter lives close to there and was spared. Although this disaster touches all of America, and the resilience of these people is truly astounding. Gods Speed to all those in the path of destruction throughout this entire country.
I nominate ALL of these original songs for songs of the year!!! In my opinion, these songs should be recognized at all the music award shows and get national attention! In addition, a collection those songs should made into an album, and **ALL** proceeds go to PEOPLE effected by Helene. Much love from Iowa. ❤
I was up next to bat cave area and used a skid steer and chainsaw to get private roads open to get people in and out from their homes.. I wish I had more time to be there and help. I hope that I can make it back down there soon. Out of the week I was there I did not see fema doing anything. Thanks for reporting the truth about this flood.
John, you are an awesome human being! Thank you for all of your hard work, and for showing us what is really going on up there. You are a true light in the darkness!
Thank you John and Zeb for all you and the many volunteers are doing. As you mentioned Jake is a God send to these folks as well. Our continued prayers from West Virginia to all those suffering and to all those doing the best they can to help ease that suffering.
Thank you both for an honest coverage of help provided to the people affected by this horrible devastation! Please continue to cover the progress that is made because the national news provides very little snipets. Prayers for all affected!
Thank you Mr. Ward for your dedication to reporting actual news.... Not rumors like so many other channels and main stream. Im a subscriber and look forward to all your videos. God bless all the people impacted by this historical devastation.
Ever since you started using the song at the beginning and at the end along with the footage, puts such a heartfelt human touch. Frankly that the Main Stream has chosen to ignore. Please keep giving us updates of our brothers and sisters who have had such horrendous devastation tear them apart. People are so focused on the political that they have pushed the humanity of the situation to the back. Don't let them do it brother. We have donated what we can and encourage others to do so. If I was physically able I'd be there. --Mike
Thank you all who have given up your time to go and physically work and do physically work to help all those people. It shows that there is some hope for this country. If I were physically able I’d be there as well.
Thank you! For taking the time to do this!! The system needs to be changed! I am so glad you are telling the truth. When watching the media it's on everything, I was thinking what is going on? Could not put into words exactly what the heck was going on? All I knew was that this is not right. Glad Dr Phil started his own channel. Glad you made this video John, thank you! Sending HuGs 🩷🇺🇸🩷 to you all!
Thank God! Finally someone who actually has knowledge about floodplain and how that works! I retired from working in floodplain management and cringe when channels talk without knowledge.
Thank you so much for the videos that you are posting...it gives such an insight to how it really is up there. I love that song it makes me cry in a good way...my heart is so touched every time I hear it. My sister-in-law was in Boone NC when the hurricane went through... she's ok...her son went and got her and brought her back to Florida.
Thank you for your coverage of this tragedy. I’ve been twice as a volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse in Burnsville and it’s absolutely heartbreaking. We did “mud outs” and demo for homeowners while they were crying as we carried out all of their worldly goods and piled them next to the street. Thankfully SP has chaplains and spiritual support for these people and we all prayed over and loved on them. I’m curious about how the people who are living/camping in their homes are dealing with their sewage. It seems to me like composting toilets would be as important as generators and heaters. As time goes on the sewage has to be dealt with. Has anyone been donating these? They are a pretty expensive item. 🙏🏻❤️
I'm so glad you two did this video. I've been watching your videos and what I've seen seems more to be the truth instead of the constant videos with the same places just filmed over and over. Most are only doing these videos for the money that You Tube, or other social media will pay them. You on the other hand been showing the people and the recovery that is being done, although it's a very hard and long process for everyone. You are so right on what was going out in media and the lack of truth that went out there. I just didn't watch much national news because usually it always leans toward putting things out there that people want to hear, not what is really happening. The sad part for most people who lost everything is many who were right on the river, don't even have the land left at all that their house was sitting on, as it was just simply washed down the river. As you mentioned John, many still owe money on basically something that doesn't exist at all now, but they are expected to continue to pay for it. Then if they file bankruptcy, they aren't going to have a hard time trying to get a loan, so they are still not getting anyway and might just leave them worse off than they were before the flood. I hate that insurance isn't paying for most claims because it was a flood, but that flood was caused by an act of nature, a hurricane. Then when and "if" FEMA does pay, it will in no way be enough to get their lives back to normal. This land was not in a flood plan at all, though it's being treated as if it were. Our government can send millions and millions to other countries without question and do it immediately, but when disaster happens in any state of the U.S., the aid just doesn't happen like it should. Sadly, it is what it is in this day and time and probably doesn't surprise any of us. Who really stepped up immediately after this happened, it was the people helping people and they were also the ones rebuilding roads enough to help people get out of their homes or between towns, the people searching for their friends and loved ones that were missing, and so much more, again not the government, at least not immediately. People have been amazing stepping up when people needed them the most. That, is what our country stands for!
Thank you John for informing everyone with the truth and all of the things that the media is NOT showing ! God bless you for being the hands and feet of God ! You are doing AMAZING helping get the word out and the truth !
You would be amazed just how big of an area that Hurricane Helene impacted, homes destroyed, but it’s in Upstate SC too, down into the the middle of South Carolina, hundreds of miles, especially out on rivers, and in the wooded areas. What’s happened here in SC, is communities coming together. The true fact is, we are seeing just how ill prepared our Government is for any catastrophe here on American soil.
Thank you for your indepth and thorough report. I understand that you have to tread lightly on what is said. This is a painful, sorrowful event. I see God's love all over this through all the selfless volunteers. Praying for all affected and all those volunteers helping. 🙏❤😢
Thank you for your reporting. I knew the devastation had to be much worse than I was seeing on tv. God bless all of you for your humanity. I wish I could give more than prayers.
Thank you for your prayers. The truth will come out. Yes this was manmadeattack, not natural. I'm a native and still alive somehow, by God's plan for me. I'd trade places with my neighbors if I could.
I am so appreciative of this channel, I live In Canada my son was there with k-line power company. He was blown away with all the damage. I watch daily for some sort of good news for these people. It will be years and years before things even start to get back to any sort of normal, My son and his partner worked like crazy fixing trucks, the roads being torn apart is hard on things. But he will never forget the people, it heartbreaking, we all wish we lived closer to be able to do more. The boys were gone 21 days, wishing they could do more. You guys keep pushing on telling this story we love all these people, and think of them daily. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I look every night when l get home for updates and you John are by far my favorite ❤I still cannot imagine the hurt and the hardships these people are going thru😢If I wasn't so old I would come and try to do something..still praying for all🙏
I appreciate your channel for reporting the truth. I'd also like to add that this area doesn't commonly experience natural disasters like this, but areas in the country that do, know what kind of timeline the government operates on. It doesn't always seem to happen as fast as we expect it to, but the job does get done. The disaster area is widespread & it takes time to get things moving.
I live in the Spruce Pine and Burnsville area, 2nd home. I work in banking so I understand the financial side. Never has a region so large and so challenging even in the best of circumstances suffered such massive destruction. I truly believe this storm system created far more damage than Katrina. The destruction is so massive my mind kind of freezes when thinking about reconstruction of the region and what is still hidden. Trees are going to be coming down for the next 5 years because of hidden root damage. Forest fires will become more common. Insurance expense, lack of financing for homeowners and small businesses. We can't even calculate the amount of equity loss homeowners will suffer, even the ones that had no damage. I have a home that was worth $1 million prior to the storm. I think its worth maybe $300k today just because of what has happened in the region. I was fortunate, I had no damage, but who wants to come in to the region and buy a home right now? I went from having equity in my home to now owing more on my home than its worth.
@@joeshu3769 I'm very thankful. My neighbor whom lives right below me doesn't. A mudslide took his home out. No flood insurance, no DIC insurance for mudslides. I've learned a lot more about insurance after this storm that I ever cared to know. I've been working since the age of 16, I'm now 57, to afford a home like I have. I got lucky when I found it for sale for a fraction of what it was worth. I took out $700k in loans on the property. A $350k first to purchase after a tremendous amount of my life savings as down payment and another $400k loan for improvements. However, I'm getting near retirement today and a large portion of my networth is in this house. If I lose my job, I will have to declare bankruptcy.
My heart hurts, really hurts for all of you in the pathway of so much destruction. My prayers are with you. God bless you, as you still have your life. Far too many lost their lives. THIS was a CRIME against humanity!
@@christschool you should never invested that type money in a house to start with, a million dollar home is ridiculous for any working person. From your own words you couldn't afford such a home to start with. Point is live well within your limits..
Praise God for you all, you will be blessed immensely, wish I was able bodied to come help because I did for years, and it is so heart fulfilling to help your brothers and sisters.
This song is amazing. I want a copy when its made. I pray for everyone effected. I want to thank you all. All the people that have helped others. Yes I cry when I see all the devastation. I wanted to help so bad. I do with my prayers. Let all the people know they will not be forgotten. I wish I could help with money. I don't have. I live in AZ. Prayers and more prayers.
Please don't forget about us 🙏I know these days that the news cycle is constantly on to the next "breaking news omg what now" and there's so many things that draw the public's attention to the latest story, but we are still living in utter devestation here in the Carolinas. We are still in need of aid, food, clothing, meds, not to mention there are still communities that are completely cut off by road due to the catastrophic flooding and mudslides/rock falls ans debris. Bridges are completely gone in some places, roads completely reduced to rubble. Entire families are gone, homes are completely gone, Helene literally changed the very GEOGRAPHY OF WESTERN NC and the Appalachian mountains in SW TENNESSEE. Landmarks like Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Bat Cave, Linville Falls and more are no longer recognizable. These places are dear to me, i grew up visiting these these iconic sites, and it breaks my heart that they're just.... Please if u can, donate items, or just volunteer your time, help clear debris, chainsaws to clear downed trees, or money to the many LEGITIMATE charities available online with phone numbers and info on how you can help and what is needed because we are still in desperate need. I don't understand why the mainstream news refuses to even cover the continued desperate situation we're in. Shame on them, and shame on the current govt administration for NOT GIVING A SHIT ABOUT THE GOOD CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY THAT DESERVE FEDERAL AND STATE/LOCAL AID. Wow. Talk about serrsly dropping the ball. To the heroes who have dropped everything and volunteered to help, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Where are the United States Army Corp of Engineers? It seems they should be Tennessee and North Carolina. Our current federal government leadership simply does not give a damn. They are so incompetent.
Hey John you're doing an awesome job reporting on everything better than any news organization. I am wanting to come down from Illinois and help out for a month or two I can run a saw, skidsteer, or machinery and have a cdl for driving a truck or whatever someone needs, I'm limited on heavy manual labor from a broken back and a hip replacement. I'm hoping you can steer me in the right direction, stay safe buddy and keep up the great work.
One we discussed this morning was the confusion about the individual grant process and the small business loan applications for disaster assistance. If you have ever applied for a government grant, there is verbiage in the grant application that does imply if certain conditions of the grant aren't met, then the money will need to be paid back. Fairly certain this was the point that led to people thinking individual assistance was a loan. The small business loans will need to be paid back at some point, the individual grants most likely will never have to be paid back - still, if some detail in the grant application is incorrect, it is possible (not probable), that they'll require it to be repaid. More likely, if you apply for individual assistance only (not the SBA loan), it will not need to ever be repaid.
I understand that there are people who are speculating what is happening here in Western NC. However, in the absence of truth, in the absence of a media that reports the facts, in the absence of staye and federal govt REAL relief efforts, that is going to happen. My brothers friend drove into an area to see how her business faired. She saw lots of dead bodies in the trees. I saw the testimony, on camera, of a first responder who had 10,000 body bags. I saw the testimony by Benny Johnson, who has a friend who works at Mission Hospital in Asheville, who said there are far more than 100. Cory Mills, Congressman from FL, who was here for the first couple of weeks, said there were far more dead than what was reported. He estimated the actual number will end up in the 2000 range. Bear Independent, who runs a rescue operation, also confirms much of what others are saying. There are plenty of testimonials from people on the ground here whom I would believe over ANY press outlet who have no idea what has happened here nor will report the truth about it. They are not reporting about the contamination, not only from dead people and animals, but those who are getting sick from having worked in and around the water and silt. There are plenty of good organizations, including veterans who are reporting on what is really happening. There were initial reports from people saying the govt and other entities were offering to buy up people's land for pennies on the dollar. Then, others came out, calling them conspiracy theorists and liars. Only to have Gov Cooper come out and say exactly that they are, in fact, buying up people's land and refusing to let them live there any longer. In the absence of truth and transparency, it's easy to assume the worst. There is lithium here, and now, veins are visible to the naked eye. There are companies building battery plants in and around Northern SC and NC. Piedmont Luthium is one company that just received a new govt contract for mining it. FEMA has been absolutely absent here. There is a FEMA whistleblower who just shared her testimony on OMG, outlining the failings of that org from the INSIDE, which validates the testimony of so many here who have posted videos on the lack of response from that org. While there are a few people who may take advantage of this situation for clickbait, there is a whole lot of truth being shared by the very people living here. Please don't continue the lies of the govt and news media by disparaging the truth for the few who take advantage. Just ignore them if you must. The suffering here, the truth about how it happened, the lack of response by our leaders, and the continued suffering need to be shared by those experiencing it. We will NEVER here it from our govt, state or federal.
As an outsider hearing all this information from multiple sources and then hearing it's conspiracy theories and bad actors leaves me to wonder what to believe and who to actually trust for donations, and or monetary help in any way. Such a tragedy and as they say "In war the truth is the first casualty".
I heard that story about the lithium and how the government and big companies are trying to buy up all the land so they can mine it Also that somehow this flood is not a act of God but was scientifically made by manipulating the weather
Janet, very well said, well written, and believable. Thank you for sharing the truth of what is happening. I believed that there had to be more deceased from the minute I first saw the count on mainstream media. Anyone with a bit of common sense would know based on the devastation that there have to be more. My heart is broken for the people of WNC. I cannot be there to help, but I am donating all I can. Hopefully the truth will come out for the nation to see after the election. I'm praying for you and all of those affected by this devastation. 🙏
Very well said. I only have one thing to add. TJ Morris/ Bear Independent isn't a veteran. He did work for fema for a time but he wasn't ever in the military.
Great video and that wonderful song should be played on radio, it is amazing!! So love and appreciate all those who came out to help ..that is real America. Most people are good, we must never forget that.
Your past experiences and learning how to make videos has set you up to tell these people story and the truth! God works in mysterious ways. Thank you for doing this
The music is so fitting. This is very heart breaking. I pray for all involved to continue to have strength. 🙏❤️ 👍🏻to the American folks to volunteering, donating items and time coming together. The trickle down effect is gong to be devastating from Michigan. Shame on the government agencies that are involved and trusted to step to the plate that were slow to react (let’s not have excuses by them) the amount of money being paid out by getting government contract. Where is the accountability by them and to who?
You guys and your teams are doing a fabulous job. Here's hoping you get all the funding, equipment, boots on the ground etc that's required to help all the people who have lost everything. These people are suffering and it's getting colder. Truly so sad. Breaks my heart.
John all your Documenting of Folks is YOUR Calling and you are Amazing at it and what a Blessing you are no matter what the place, Folks or situations are! You could definitely write a book about Helene.....God Bless you Sir!
Ive posted on many videos just how devastated this area is and how different it is from being on the coast . On the coast you know where land fall is and the category. What happened here is unpresidented and unpredicted . It came in the early morning hours and took many lives. It was more than water surge, It was mud slides, flooding waters and sweeping debris that no one could face and come out on the other side. This was a catastrophe NO ONE saw coming and no one was prepared for. The lose of life and live stock, land, homes, belongings, jobs and historical places can never be replaced. decades of livelihood linked to the geological area are forever lost. This is way different than having a heads up of land fall or warning. It was not Predicted at all. my prayers go out to all the families who may never find their loved ones, my heart cries for each and every one of you. Im so thankful that people have come out from all over the US to help. God bless you all.
How about FEMA building a development for all their workers at the tune of 50 mil, including tornado shelters? This is for the FEMA workers, that's a lot of money that is not being spent on the people who have no home. Disgusting
This is a terrible disaster. I'm thankful to all the loving volunteers that made a difference in the people's lives that are traumatized by the hurricane. It's not over. Let's not forget who really cares
Thank you for putting this video out. Some great information!! you are so appreciated with your channel. ❤ I'll be coming down from PA for Thanksgiving to volunteer
Those waters did not discriminate. But the people are strong and they will build and prosper again with each others help as well with others who love them no matter their religion, republican or democrat, or color of their skin. Love will lift them up in prayers to God the Father. North Carolina people were already strong but now they are stronger not because of the flood but in Spite of the flood. Praying God Continues To Bless The People Who Survived The Floods Of North Carolina. The KJV BIBLE MATTHEW 5,4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. AMEN 👍👍❤️🙏🙏🇺🇸
May the Lord Jesus Christ claim the souls of the unsaved during the wake of this disaster. I pray for the people affected by this hurricane, that they recover fully and are prosperous once again. That many friendships and fellowship develop in all communities and that something even better take the place of that which was lost. God Bless always.
And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; Genesis 8:1-8-22 To all of the negative news and those with an unkind spirit. My we all take note of a community of people and it's outpouring of love. Maybe this verse when read it's entirety be an inspiration to us all. God Bless all providing support. "Bat Cave"
Thank you for keeping this in the spotlight. I'm heading to Asheville, NC from Illinois this weekend to help relief efforts for a week. Can anyone tell me if US-25 is open between Newport, TN and I-26 (by Weaverville, NC)?
Thank you Mr Ward for all you do to help these people , I don't watch the News station's because I know they could care less about the people, i have watched videos of boot's on the ground made by the people who are there and sees the horrible DISTRUCTION . GOD bless you and all who have put the people first . I'm from Western North Carolina still have brother's and sister's and nieces and nephews living up there.
I WATCH ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS .............CAUSE I LIKE THE TRUTH............REAL TRUTH...........THIS THAT THE PEOPLE ,,,,,WE THE PEOPLE ARE DOING HERE IS WHAT IS MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN........I SHARE YOUR VIDEOS ON X AND TRUTH SOCIAL....I stress to the podcasters that THIS that you post is TRUTH...........LOV FROM SOUTH ALABAMA.
This song should be played often on every radio station & social media in the USA! The flooding was not natural - Prayers for all victims & the good folks with boots on the ground! 💔🙏💔
No help will ever come fast enough or be enough for those who have suffered from this. It is easy to blame the government or FEMA, but things afe going to take time. Planners will have to assess or reassess everything. They'll have to figure out where they can put the road back in and that may impact some pelple's properties. They'll have to find the best place to put the new road in.
Thankyou We are watching listening learning. We postponed our trip through there til next spring. We now are keeping an eye on your channel for when the area stabilizes ... they will need visitors to get the economy going. Enjoyed the sit down you brought today. Off subject, kindly consider put the cigarettes away, for ppl who can't take it.
Mother Nature opened a can of whoop ass and poured it out on the region. People who are engaging in this kind of wild imaginary fairy tales you mentioned are of no help whatsoever. The End!
There is conspiracy but not from the people who are speaking truth. what you said is fact but people are lazy and not prepared to do their own due diligence. To seek truth and look into everything for themselves.
Thank you for sharing to those of us who are unable be there to help. Please know you all are in our prays daily❤ Love and Prays All 🙏🇺🇸😊
Me to
Me too.. Thanks to Patera we are able to find you so we can figure out where we can help.. 🙏 for you all
Without creators like you we would not be aware of the people coming together in such a wonderful way. A move of God. Also loved the opening song.
Everything always has to do with god for you folks. It's exasperating. Especially, knowing all that we now know.
Do you know the name of the song
What's the name of the song called????
Thank you Men and Women so much for all you are doing. Us true americans are very proud of your help.
United we stand. Divided we fall. Please wake up, America!!! 🇺🇸💥♥️🙏
Well said ! AMEN !!
AMEN, prayers now not just for disaster areas but the world is on a precipice!
Amen……please stay strong and United!
Absolutely ❤
AMEN!
God Bless you all! We are praying our hearts out for relief.
What is the name of the song and group singing it? I love it so much
Thanks for reporting what's really going on in these devastated areas John, otherwise we may never know.
What a beautiful tribute. I cry every time I see these. What a horror these people went through and are still going through. Praying for all.
Love this song, GREAT SONG AND WELL DONE.
What the song called.
@@suehilligoss6585 I'm guessing Helene...but can't find it aside from these videos. They really need to put it out for folks to hear.
Thank you for your covering this tragedy of actual people who are suffering and who is really helping the people. Thank you.
Helene will not break the human heart! Wonderful video
John, you are an awesome human being! Thank you for all of your hard work, and for showing us what is really going on up there. You are a true light in the darkness!
Thank God for our veterans 🙏 ❤🇺🇸
Thank you John and Zeb for all you and the many volunteers are doing. As you mentioned Jake is a God send to these folks as well. Our continued prayers from West Virginia to all those suffering and to all those doing the best they can to help ease that suffering.
Thank you both for an honest coverage of help provided to the people affected by this horrible devastation! Please continue to cover the progress that is made because the national news provides very little snipets. Prayers for all affected!
Breaks your heart seeing the damage. Wonderful song. May the people be allowed to rebuild and may the government help instead of hinder.
--Mike
All we have is each other. I would love to see it exhibited without disasters as well. God Bless America
The original composting toilet was a bucket and a shovel to bury the contents, or a hole in the ground with a shed over it.
Thanks! guys for keeping us informed
Here in Spain we're going through the same heartbreak.
Our biggest problem are beaurocrates.
Exactly the same patterns and heartbreak in Emilia Romagna, Italy.
Thank you John and all who are helping.
This is a really nice video of people helping others during
trying times like this thank you.☕👋🇺🇲
Thank you for sharing the real deal!!!!!!!! I admire yall for this.
Thank you so much! I appreciate the candid view of what's truly going on!
People, please keep praying and helping if you can . 🙏
Told my sister about your videos. Great job of telling this stories of deviation. Thank you.
THANK YOU.....WONDERFUL PEOPLE. THAT SONG IS AMAZING....GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
I look every night when l get home for updates and you John are by far my favorite ❤I still cannot imagine the hurt and the hardships these people are going thru😢If I wasn't so old I would come and try to do something..still praying for all🙏
Thank you for telling the true story of the situation.
Homes need to be opened for these people!
At least you have a home
God Bless all that be Affected .after this Storm
Most “conspiracy theories” all turn out to be true facts over time! Hide & watch what becomes of the land & whose hands it ends up in!
Thank you so much for this Channel. I've been watching a long time but it means more this last month on what you bring to us all!! God bless
Great video and that wonderful song should be played on radio, it is amazing!! So love and appreciate all those who came out to help
..that is real America.
I love the song!
I will never in a million years comprehend how this actually happened to my beautiful WNC😢
God bless you for your service ❤❤
Beautiful song!!!! I could not love this enough ❤❤
Continued to pray for you all
How about FEMA building a development for all their workers at the tune of 50 mil, including tornado shelters? This is for the FEMA workers, that's a lot of money that is not being spent on the people who have no home. Disgusting
Wicked evil people!
Glad yas are doing well stay safe and glad that people came together to help others when the government didn't
This is a terrible disaster. I'm thankful to all the loving volunteers that made a difference in the people's lives that are traumatized by the hurricane. It's not over. Let's not forget who really cares

Amen.

TRAIL OF TEARS 😎🎸
Is that the title? Well, it is a fabulous piece of music.
@@patriciakelly5451 no, but I can't remember it.
This song should be played often on every radio station & social media in the USA! The flooding was not natural - Prayers for all victims & the good folks with boots on the ground! 💔🙏💔
After watching Lahaina closely…mmm…it’s not a theory about land grabs. Farms, ranches, houses.
Praying for you guys ❤
Thank you both so much for your help with these sweet people!!
The song that plays in the background says so much about the situation!!!!!!
11:35 thanks guys for what you are doing!
Thanks John from Pioneer Tennessee
Thankyou

I am currently serving USMC and call me a conspiracy theorist because I believe they used weather warfare on those mountain folks...
Uuuuuuuuuuhm.
I agree. The government has been using it since Vietnam. You're not a conspiracy theorist.
ABSOLUTELY, they did!
