- May 23, 2021. It was a usual normal day a man could want. The weather was clear, birds were singing, it was a peaceful morning until cowboy game updated. Yes Wild West has updated after a long wait I’ve finally gotten the building update- no. Well what is the auction update? To be simply said, more content and for the pvp changes new guns.

To be clearer - new vendor has been added to Howling Peak which sells the rarest items in the game: the auction house! And many other changes you could see on screen. One thing it changed was the sweaty tryhard quick switching that the faction nerds did. Trust me I was one of the mad ones but now I am clean, don’t care about these faction nerds anymore. It was pretty difficult blending in with the new changes but all and all It was a pretty decent and fun update if you didn’t grind for plastic guns. Players were expecting in the next month or two we’ll get the see the much anticipated building update, no.
Why it is taking so long to get the next update.
Well. It is pretty self-explanatory people were attacking the developers, the developers being a bit too lazy and some even quit developing the wild west. So that leaves the building update to be delayed once again. But recently the devs and sbs have came forward to let us known that before the building update The progression Update will release. What is that you might ask? Well I’ll tell you that in a bit. For now just know that, Building update is not coming any time soon.
Well. To put it simple, It’s going to add 10X the content of the auction update. For example, NEW MELEE SYSTEM, NEW COSMETICS AND ITEMS, ENVIRONMENT REVAMPS, NEW ROBBERY MECHANICS, NEW TRAIN SYSTEM. Legit like 10 or even more guns and a lot more. It is going to be a revolutionary update for the wild west’s content and player count. Only this can save this lego game from death.

I think it would be cool to give bows a damage buff on animals like bears, as that would make them more useful and fun. I think having a grappling arrow would also be fun or a harpoon one for fishing, cuz that would be rlly fun.

i quit after the auction update released, but i still think about the times where roleplaying as the mayor and sheriff brought joy to my life, unfortunately the game is too toxic and sweaty now
yes i literally don't have time to grind for hours on end trying to get some stupid gun so i stopped playing. it was fun before and i was really good at pvp but then people started buying all those op guns.

you can still beat someone with auction guns if you dont have them. hit your navy headshots. simple as that.
i personally loved the auction update, addition of instruments was really fun

At 4:20, the melee weapon shown is called a Macahuitl I believe, an Aztec tool that consisted of a wood piece with obsidian shard attached onto the sides of it.

i think its pretty strange that obsidian is used for the sharp edges, since its really brittle

@@NoX-gx6xmthe trench shotgun wasnt a war crime in ww1. The germans only said they were because they were so effective at clearing trenches. They were also the ones who used chemical gas on us. Point is it was never a war crime

edit: the shotgun you dont know the name of in the beginning is the same pump action just with a heat shroud so you dont burn your hands which is a m1897 winchester irl

Gun nerd here the shotguns you saw were the same but one has a heat sheild and the other one doesnt these guns are propably the Winchester Model 1897 also known as the trench shotgun it is a pump action shotgun as you can see but it is able to shoot really fast by holding the trigger and keep pumping the pump you are able to mag dumb your 10 round mag in to a target
i used to play wild west a lot and used to grind a lot of a auction gun and money, somewhere in nov or oct of 2022 i finally got a prototype and then when i got that i just stoped playing for no reason.and i remember hearing something about the building update and i didnt know is delayed like a million times,and now the progression update, is really cool and very intresting to see that is gonna be 10x guns in auction, when the update comes i might go back and play again probably.

Those mfs at starboard studios have been "getting close" to finishing progression for almost a year now. The treasure hunt update was fun for about a week but got boring really quick. And get this, Tyridge is working on another game called fishing simulator. I don't understand how he has time to work on another game if he doesn't have work on tww. Imma be pissed if progression doesn't come this summer.

I was also very chill when I first played tww in 2020 or 2021 (i still a little am) and I remember the old pvp, and some of the old buildings. But now there so many tryhards that are toxic

the fun par they had this before they removed it for example if you were to pick the hunting mission it would tell you to hunt down 3 bears/buffalos/deer/crocks
to late i already gave my I45k plus golden kukri away i have accumilated/spent 8.5m in the 3 years i played i enjoyed it but i already ended my game time so the wild west has failed but... maybe... just maybe...
The progression update is fake. It’s just to make players play the game more in hopes to keep it alive, because the devs are too lazy to make an update.
devloper allways add new guns, map expantions , logics etc but never talk about optimization !!😞anyways let see what we got!!! if it is ture 🧐

its not coming the old devs were the ones that actually worked on the game and since they left developing since the main devs didn't care so I do not believe its coming and if it does its going to be hella shitty and harder to grind for. and by the way the new shotguns name is the "trench gun"

This might be just me, but I feel like the whole XP/Quest thing is gonna flop Red Dead Online style. I think having daily quests is an amazing idea, but having an XP system will make the game more grindy than it already is which will probably decimate the casual players of the game.
