You would think that black women would understand this the most. How many times have we stood behind a movement or have been the face of while the entire world, collectively pretend you did and do nothing of importance? We dont even have claim to our own image
'everyone is in on it' is exactly what I've been suspecting for a very long time. My question is when is the black female collective going to get a clue and develop a cut throat self preservation as a culture of women. It's time.
i think it’s already happening. blk women are single, with no kids, and quitting jobs at an increasing rate that’s never been seen before. i think it’s only becoming popular topics now bc society is finally realizing the impact of it, but blk women are definitely restricting access to themselves. i feel like the question now is how are we practically helping eachother and what do we want to organize with eachother
