Y’all have done an excellent job! The more y’all work together, the more amazing y’all do! Y’all work GREAT together and it’s a lot cheaper for y’all to do it yourselves than to hire someone to do it and charge you an arm and a leg to do what y’all have already did! It looks Great and at least y’all will have your privacy and also be able to watch the kids while they’re in the yard playing! Y’all did an AMAZING JOB TOGETHER! Keep up the GREAT WORK! My husband is the same until he finished the job he’s 72 years old still be trying no matter how much I tell him “that’s enough now” he’s a Vietnam Veteran and held down 2 jobs when kids were young ❤

It looks awesome, but remember wood expands & contracts; so that means without vertical 2x4, or 6's the slats will warp. Preserve all that hard work with 2 vertical posts screwed into each horiz slat per section. That equals 4 verticals on the inside or outside of the pergola
