All these young studs at QB these days... Joe is far and away my favorite. He's such a thoughtful, well spoken, charming young man. Always liked Colin's podcast, He's a solid down to earth guy. Adding a world class human being, namely Joe Burrow, it's now my go to podcast.
This needs to keep going even after the season... year round... these two guys just riffing.. gold!

As good as that sounds, I don’t think that’ll happen. I see us keeping joe, tee, hurst and Mixon. We can keep them all if they all was to take a deal like Brady has throughout the years to take less now but get it overtime. Superstar studded team we have here. Mr Brown & company has to continue digging deep in their wallets. Sure it can happen…but, how are they going to do it if they do indeed do it. Whodey regardless!

Joe is spot on with the injury take, you knew the job was dangerous when you took it. That’s why most of us are not allowed to play after 18. And if you are lucky enough to keep playing you’re rewarded handsomely

The real reason Colin pursued this segment is thatColin was down on Burrow during the draft and Burrows rookie and sophomore seasons, and decided he needed to overcompensate by tilting fully into Burrow as much as possible.
Still a great segment and Colin does a really fantastic job interviewing Burrow

They had similar abilities
Gun slinger, like to Run n Gun great in the pocket and good escape ability... Burrow reads a defense better as the game goes on tho. And I'd say he's more accurate.
Romo killed once he became a starter. Burrow will probably be better long term tho

I think collins rankings on air are alittle biased because of his relationship with joe but I absolutely love current players getting on once a week like Aaron Rodgers does with the Pat & AJ Hawk and this with Collin. I think giving these athletes a chance to just have a normal conversation, maybe talk alittle about football and also just talk about themselves as a person is great for them psychology, I think it helps nfl fans better understand them, and it’s not like a press conference after a game where all those people care about is the game or the game next week or so on.
I absolutely love this is starting to be a more common thing and I think these athletes love it as well. I would love to see other players do this as well if they could find someone in the media they click with in the way Joe and Collin do and Rodgers and the McAfee

Makes me smile every once in awhile to know Burrow is our QB, I became a Bengals fan at 15 in A.J. Green n Andy Daltons rookie year 2011, watched almost every game every single week since (2016 - 2021 was rough to watch), and now we got our guy, Joey Burrow, Now we just need Zac Taylor to hand over the Playcalling and Put Chris Evans in over Perine, Joseph Ossai in more, Zach Carter needs atleast half the games Snaps and will grow into his own with DJ being out a couple weeks and Cam Sample some more snaps, Would like to see Akeem Davis-Gaither start over Germaine Pratt and Daxton Hill start over Eli Apple or atleast Rotate Daxton Hill all around the secondary, and whats the word on Cam Taylor-Britt I havnt heard a thing on him since game 3 of the preseason
As a lifelong bengals fan, of similar age, I agree with most of this. Some of the defense choices I’m iffy on. Give Dax carter and akeem snaps yes, but you can’t bench apple and Pratt. Proven vets who have done almost no wrong this year.
