Thanks so much for playing our game, as one of your biggest fans this means a lot, I jumped and screamed when I saw the video LOL! Thanks again and we're glad you had fun.
so as developers do our votes count in moving this to a series or until you kill the big boss? hhhh Thanks again
Game looks fun! Will it be released on other platforms?
i.... love... it.. i mean the meta progression is a bit bloated and it needs more balance refinement and variety but just wow, one of the first arena survivals that has made me truly excited!
also if it isn't already in the game thrusters that increase thrust from that direction would be interesting
@@atoxicthorn Currently just for Steam (Windows) there is no plans yet for other releases
@@kaazmun9964 Thanks so much for the feedback and new balancing patch out today!
@@druidsunionvods Thanks so much for the feedback and new balancing patch out today! and we already have fuel parts that'll help you boost around
I think the shields might be better if they took longer to come back online, but came back at full health, instead of at 1 hp and getting their regen interrupted
Thanks for the feedback we just implemented this into the game and will be coming in the next patch.
I've played it for a bit now myself. The unlocks come pretty steadily, and I think it's probably the main mechanic that gives the game some play time.
However, I think there could be a tweak. I think that having a low chance to role a component one level above your current unlock, or a base version of an available unlock, could add a little rng variety to a run. It would also let players try components they might not be prone to unlocking.
I've paid a lot more for far inferior games, this is a great little game.
Three dollar games is something I can get behind!
The concept behind this is so cool, I just have to buy it.
Two videos within an hour of each other? Wow!
3 videos daily for ~11 years
@@Retromation keep up the grind brother. absolutely outstanding.
I think that's a side of your channel that is easy to take for granted, the sheer volume of quality content you put out is outstanding. Thanks for all your hard work!
This looks really fun! But like most have said. The meta progression is extreme. This might be one where console commands come into play.
I am not too put off by the meta grind. While I don't have a ton of time to put into gaming these days, its still a game where you can hop on do a few runs and feel like you accomplished something by getting a couple of unlocks. The $3 price tag is a definite plus for me as well.
I hope at some point you get the ability to rotate the ship so you could at least try to protect the good parts of your ship. Maybe adding parts that also improve the ship's turning speed and movement speed would be great.
This game reminds me of bubble tanks, the old flash game
this seems like a neat game! Although it looks a bit too heavy on meta progression for me personally though. Seems promisimng
I think you missed the pink bloon
@@FlazuelJr what are you talking about? Obviously nothing gets past his bow
The meta appears faster now. Developer active and listening to feedback.
If you like some of the elements in this game, you may want to try Nimbatus. Modular ship-building with FTL maps!
Flamethrower go FWOOOOOOOSH!
seems a bit grindy but wouldn't object to at least another video, I'm curious how crazy you could make your build. Love to see these games I'd probably never hear of otherwise!
that beginning thoough
OBS do be doing its thing
Not complaining, just thought the immidiete game genre combo drop was funny
looks like a lot of interesting choices and combinations but seems like I wouldn't be able to get their
Pretty good game....somehow not getting any scrap pieces for.meta and j wish you started off a little faster bht...you know what this reminds me of....has anyone heard if that older game Captain Forever? Getting similar vibes
The grind seems pretty egregious. Like the primary gameplay loop was designed around the meta progression instead of the actual gameplay.
I'm enjoying the meta and trying to get farther. Also some choices that impact play. Fun game.
basically an idle game.
It's like someone took Nova Drift and created Nova Barge. The meta progression definitely seems like an anti seller here sadly. Locking base mechanics instead of rare or skill cap up things is mostly a time sink. And punishing the player for not having a base item like shields is kinda mean even lol. Still looks fun from a genre mash up perspective and I'd still watch another one on this as the devs balance it.
good video, but a bit too critical about the same stuff over and over for a small indie dev game
The tech tree is just a persistent progression mechanic so that you don't have to keep unlocking them each run, a straight lift from the deck based games textbook. Having everything unlocked from the start would be a lot less fun than you'd think, it'd gut the difficulty curve and overwhelm you with choices... my instincts say that the low initial part selection is meant to nudge you into learning the basic strategies then letting you learn the new pieces as you unlock them, rather than having so many options you don't know which decisions are faulty.
Honestly, it's not all that different from Vampire Survivors in progress mechanics, exactly the same kind of per-run and persistent unlock tree with an emphasis on replayability and an improving starting loadout. *shrug*
The dev agreed with my points and changed it... shrug
@@Retromation Fair enough ... don't know what changes were made but my first step would be reducing prices for some early game upgrades
Man iv had girlfriends that made me spend less money then you do
First!
this game is way to hard they throw way to much at you way to fast wth why have 2 bosses soon as the game starts then u got to deal with all the adds on top of it come on man u got to have way less enemies until we get to at least build up a bigger base its insane at least give us more points to spend if your not gonna do that....
This game needs to be rebalanced
Looks like garbage, the flamethrowers are OP and if the dev misses something like that then he will miss alot more. A hidden crypto miner would be more fun than this frustrating crap.
