A lot of these cops are pretty bad, but the videos on UA-cam are a drop in the bucket. Not nearly enough examples to generalize. I personally had many run-ins with police officers and I always treated them with respect and I got the same thing back. Direct d is an ex-con that has a chip on his shoulder against the police because his own actions put him at odds with the authorities and he can't accept responsibility. The difference between him and I is that I accepted responsibility.
Having said that, if you actually think this guy was arrested for no rear lights on a bicycle, and that they NEEDED three patrol cars, you should go back to school or read more or something. Improve your comprehension skills.

Same thing Happened to my wife years back when she was riding around 4am to get to work. Several squad cars showed up. Ive seen cops arrest a pregnant woman over a busted tail light and old speeding tickets. Absolutely sick.

I lived in the city for a short time, and figured use a bicycle cuz it was quicker instead of the car to run around the corner for a quart of milk. Well, the problem is if you're over the age of a teenager, and riding a bicycle, it means you're poor and that you're in a lot of trouble and you don't have your license and probably have warrants.

Every public official, every law enforcement official, is required to make a solemn and binding oath where they first and foremost swear their allegiance to the Constitution of the United States of America, the supreme law of the land. The supreme law of the land that all acts of any legislative body must comply with and may only make laws that are not repugnant to. And any law repugnant to the supreme law of the land is automatically void. That means that no LAW ENFORCEMENT officer can legally enforce and unconstitutional law. And it also means that any police officer who does violate the supreme law of the land by violating the rights of any person under color of law is committing a federal felony crime punishable by fine and up to life in a federal prison and possibly a death sentence as well.

If they had anything, I would’ve already been in cuffs. As an added bonus a day later I see the same sheriff in a utube video violating the rights of another Yucaipa,Ca resident. Sorry excuse for Law enforcement

Some would say that you abuse cops when you antagonize them with your words, I say that until the police do their jobs and not hassle civilians for the sake of ruining the lives of people, you are doing a public service by exposing the corruption that needs to be addressed since nobody else has the balls to do it. Until the oath they took has meaning, the exposure will continue. Thank you DD for the public service you provide. I believe we need law and order in our society and I believe that there might be some good cops out there. The problem lies where supposed good cops do nothing and say nothing when bad cops go rogue. All police activity from the start of their shift until they clock out should be monitored and scrutinized, nobody should have the kind of un-bridled power over citizens without real, substantial oversight from the public that they were hired to represent.

Well think about it, if you're a cop, you probably don't want to be sent to violent situations, so to avoid that you can stop a guy on a bike or some other measly thing, try to escalate so it looks important, then you burn an hour of time doing that and protect yourself having to go to a real-crime call. Keep doing that as much as you can and you can lower the instances in your cop career in having to go to real crime (potentially dangerous) calls.
And if you can escalate it to where the victim's face attacked your bullets, the more awards and promotions you'll garner!!
