Hello Chess Vibes. It has crossed my mind rook lift with potential windmill idea at 34:36. I thought going for Rd5 followed by Rg5. I think it is good for a few moves after this one also. I could check with engine, but I think it would be interested that other players to see. What I am not sure about is it worth it? Does it complicate position unnecessary? Also, I do not see the way to prevent it, but I still want to ask you does it work? Thanks for good content.

can someone explain to a lowly 1200 why he didn't go queen b5 and proceed to check and snag the knight at the start?

After checking with Qb5+ black could respond with pawn c6 which would both protect the knight (with the black queen) and attack the white queen. This would lose tempo for white since the white queen would have to drop back.
