David what a fun blog! That's the most I've ever heard Andrew talk. Absolutely love his UA-cam channel. Your career is and always has been first class. Thank you! KC
AC is my favorite UA-camr. His content is 99% action and he takes the time to edit together all the different camera positions and drone shots. He is teaching an entire generation how to make watchable content.
Stacey not knowing about the container castle beforehand was unfortunate. Stellar he helped to inform and motivate Andrew, who has entertained, informed and motivated so many 🙌
Mr. David I just want to give you my heartfelt appreciation, if it wasn’t for you and trucks I wouldn’t be in the position I am today. Being 10 years old and watching your shows I learned so many valuable assets that I still use to this day. Btw copper head was one of the best builds to date!
Andrew has one of my favorite youtube channels and I grew up watching Stacey. Loved hearing my home town Chattanooga getting mentioned as well . Awesome show.
Media creation is really changing and in this case, definitely for the better. Been watching Stacey for decades from various programs, and Andrew for several years now too. Inspiration for us project procrastinators from two very credible people. Well done.
I’m a mechanic for 20 years, I grew up watching trucks and power block on Saturday morning. I still re watch trucks. I’m currently building a 97 ranger into a pre runner and I re watch the fab tech lift and wide fender install just to get into the mood. It’s cool to see up to date podcast stuff with Stacey
It was my interest (at the time) in container buildings that brought me to Camarata's videos. I constantly need a brake from politics... not too much talking. The castle is still getting finished. Dan Wheeler is doing finish work inside. Watching the installation of the vertical container was amazing. Andrew's range of skills, courage and vision for his future all adds up to a guy's fantasy life. It's going to be amazing to watch the new castle go up... He's got his own gravel mine rock crushing and separation. It's amazing how much work a good road requires to be carved, trees removed, rock put down, drainage... It's all amazing, and few of us have ever seen this stuff done. All the time there are moments like goofing around with his friends, or installing a radio in the dash of the Dodge using a chainsaw.... "Good as new"...
This was great on so many levels. I remember watching you when I was a kid so many episodes I get them so confused so many good memories on Saturday mornings I’m always wrenching or tinkering with something throughout the week or on the weekends. I’ve built multiple cars, a handful of jeeps And I’m really into big Equipment now just had an old dozer that I rebuilt a bunch of parts on that was really fun. You and Andrew really hit home with doing hands-on things and not necessarily going to college I drive a truck for a living and have my little dirt business on the side, very excited for my future what a great listen
Howdy Stacy!! Been following you for over 20 years and Andrew since his beginnings!! I agree whole heartedly with you and Andrew....... America needs more trade schools and jobs in the trades. Otherwise, America's infrastructure is in serious trouble. Thanks for the years of automotive information and mechanical sculpture!! Your dedication, Stacy, is awesome. Andrew ...... thanks for years of entertainment and information...... love the heavy machinery and how to!! I use to live in North Jersey and spent a lot of time in your New York area...... (motorcycles) ...... I dig your hills and mountains!! Great show!!
Thank you for inspiring me to get my hands dirty Stacey 20 years ago. I bought my first excavator this year after watching Andrew “buying a mountain top” series. My offroad park development is directly related to you both. Awesome collaboration guys.
Andrew is a fascinating dude! You and Andrew are a good team to discuss this stuff. He has great respect for you and he has followed you during his formative Motörhead years and it’s evident you have much respect for his talent and history as well.Maybe you go video a trip to his castle and you running a few pieces of his equipment.
Best thing about YT is finding Japanese or Korean creators putting up their handcrafted bread, wood working and craftsmanship. This is celebrated by all of us DIYers and even moderately successful remodelers.
Been watching Stacy and Andrew for years. Love how both fix and make things work. Andrew is less conventional, but makes it happen. Great to see you both collaborate together!👍🏼
Thank you for the great interview. I will also give you credit. I’ve been watching you since the truck days. Your show was always different. You showed us how to work on things. You also inspired us to get out there and do something in the garage. I wouldn’t know what I do today if wasn’t for your shows.
Great collaboration, I enjoy Andrew's channel a lot. I never missed an episode of Trucks when you hosted it. I've enjoyed Gears as well. By the way, my favorite one of your builds was "Big Blaze". "Sargent Rock" and "The Fall Guy" tribute truck are a super close second. 👍
Stacey could build another Copperhead truck and I would watch every minute. That was a great project. There should be an episode where Stacey builds some rock or earth moving tool and then Andrew uses it out in the field.
I was born in 63. By 1970 i knew i wanted to play with engines! Its still all i want to do after a lifetime of almost everything mechanical. Welding, machining, engines and hydraulics and generators. I used to disassemble brand new wrecked cars and fix them and nobody could tell they were ever touched. I just retired from marine biz. One customer said," Hatteras said this boats good for 1300 hp. I don't care what engines you put in here as long as i got 1300 hp when your done" he got two 11 liter cummins. 680 each. Thats the only thing that would fit.
I really, really wish you could play videos on UA-cam, I mean how great 👍🏻 would that be to watch a video instead of just hearing it like on a 📻 radio 🤔
I've been a Stacy fan from way back. As a kid I never missed an episode of trucks. But I have to say I'm a little disappointed. You have andrew on and do zero research, you didn't even know he had a castle easily one of the coolest structures ever built.
A 2:18 minute long Commercial before the video really is rude and one big reason why i'm staying more and more away from UA-cam. UA-cam is getting too greedy.
I think what needs to be remembered is that our parents and parents parents often had to do physical labor or trades because its ALL they could do. No money for higher learning, not opportunities at all. Especially in rural areas. Even more so way back when where you'd have to be 6 years old working the field because if your family didn't harvest you wouldn't eat and have a roof anymore. So of course they pushed their children to go on and go to college and make something more of themselves than just a farmer or what not. HOWEVER what we realize now is that the type of work can be just as rewarding in comparison to higher level jobs like a lawyer, doctor, or whatever else. That even if you end up broke in life, that working with your hands can be just as important to some as having money in them. We gotta remember. One life isn't better than the other. It's about finding the right life for you.
sorry stacy...I love your work and legacy... I wouldn't let this kid work on my bicycle...he is where he is because of alphabet checks that he really didn't earn....theres a lot of this on UA-cam, and it's not good...
@@vizibug what an absolute crock of shit! Camarata is where he is because he has worked his ass off. You can get away with painting UA-cam creators with a broad brush but you're way out of line on this one.
@@thesickhorseranch Agreed. If anyone has earned their position, it's AC. Good grief. From nothing to >1.4 million subscribers, doing everything himself and never shilling for sponsors. AC not only earned it, but earned it the hard way. While every Content Creator is currently lamenting falling view counts, AC's view counts continue to rise. If that's not earning it, I'd love to hear what constitutes earning it to this guy. Please @PNW_Car_Mods do enlighten us.

yes that was a great build, sad it was sold and stripped.
Copperhead was not sold and stripped. I had it back on Gearz in Season 17. You can see those episodes for free on my channel.
@@OfficialStaceyDavid So what vehicle left the show, all the performance parts removed and replaced with OEM parts?
Big Blaze was stripped of a lot of its upgrades. Some of the trucks we did for OEMs weren't allowed into public hands after the show.
Andrew has one of my favorite youtube channels and I grew up watching Stacey. Loved hearing my home town Chattanooga getting mentioned as well . Awesome show.

Stacey, you've got some room to catch up with Andrew... I've never seen you take a chainsaw to a dashboard.
Or use 3" self tapping screws to hold on a floppy fender flare. 😆
Can you do a shop tour and tool box tour

Man I remember getting up to watch Stacey David build some awesome cars and trucks on power block .
Did Stacey never watch an Andrew video?
Nope.
Come on Stacey the castle is in 90% of his videos. 😂
Stacey will freak if he saw the castle construction video's
Andy has a great channel
@ 25:58 I think that's a great point. Mechanics and Technicians and Tradespeople get little to no respect in America.....

*On certain videos Andrew is pretty much just hacking the shit out some stuff but he is a special case so I don't mind.*
