Like almost all EV bikes - they sort of turn out to be vapour ware. They tend to run these companies following the tesla model (silicon valley model) which is get a ton of VC funding, get a prototype out and make some wild claims - good marketing videos - Get pre - orders to proceed to stay stay in business long enough to burn through it and produce nothing. It is a plague in the in the tech industry and seemingly so in this world. Stark did the exact same thing - bought up all of Alta's IP and built a new bike - take preorders and try to focus marketing on their "phone" integration system. These guys tend to live off of VC funds.
You’re really pushing that WEF line, aren’t you? How is mining for cobalt and lithium “sustainable”? How are those electrons accelerated to charge electric vehicles? Are we going to start building nuclear power plants everywhere? Or are they simply going to start limiting how much we can drive? Kind of disappointed in you there, Yams
It makes more sense to not put expensive and complicated adjustable ergonomics on the bike and just simply swap hardware to get a preferred riding position. Why have all that extra crap that will be used to tune in your position and then never again until the bike changes owners.
If you are truly happy with one single riding position all the time, then yeah you have a point, but something tells me your in the minority regarding riding ergos. If it actually works as advertised. You can essentially switch between superbike ergos and sport tourer ergos on the fly. I find it hard to believe that if given the opportunity to easily do as such, you would NEVER want to change your riding position. I live in a city, but I have a semi decent back road about half an hour away. Until I actually get there AND on the way back, it would be very nice to have an upright bike with lower foot pegs instead of clipons and high foot pegs, especially when I'm inside the city with a lot of stop and go traffic. When I actually get to said back-road, there are no traffic lights for miles, the speed limits are much higher, and I have actual winding curves in front of me. The clipons and higher riding pegs make a lot of sense and actually feel good in that environment. Ditto in a race track. Would be awesome to have a fully faired bike that feels ergonomically good no matter where I am.

I am honestly not a electric fan but if they brought the price down I wouldn’t be against this in the slightest for a commuter bike it would be awesome and as a 6’4 rider I appreciate the adjustability
Is there a release date? When will we see production models on the street?
They don't have their plant up and running yet. They have pushed their first release date back 3 times already and i suspect it will continue to be that way for a long while.
@@corail53 That's rough.
Someone get papa Yam a test bike!
If a truck with that many "anime" dvds spills everywhere it better stop me so i can grab them up.
I genuinely hate electric vehicle's for a variety of reason but a lot of the other tech is nice
Bro cover ultraviolet motorcycle. They make cool EVs. 300km range
I haven't heard my name so favorably since running man. Except for the end of that movie. Yeesh.
Long after the last Damon investor have given up hope of ever seeing their money again there will be DRZ 400 thumping around.
Sounds like another Stuart Garner and Norton operation.
Damon is really good at graphic design
However cool this might be, it still suffers from the pain of waiting a full hour for the charge after 2-3 hours of riding.
Dang, I've never seen a jet ski do backflips like that
..
Nice commercial, yams probably got one for free.
Seems like the new roadster or cyber truck of electric bikes. Will probably never see it.
"co-pilot" system sounds great in theory, but it could be absolute garbage in practice. Also the marketing of Damon just simple sounds sus and clique. Also the "shift" feature rounds kinda neat, but it bet it would be a nightmare to maintain
My humerus is now recovering after a car tin into my bike and sometimes I wonder if it would have been better if I had cameras? But with the exception of gathering evidence I think not since I had already stopped, all this expensive technology just to get killed by one crazy driver. Maybe what we need is less automation and fewer crazy people on the road.
great video, very informative!! How about another video similar to this about zero motorcycles 😁
Would only love to have it be based on a 800V system instead of 450V; that would have boosted the time to recharge the battery

Thanks Yammie for your research. Always interesting. Would love to own one of these one day.
wow, a really safe option, with no mirror.
Come back in 50 years time, the motorcycling fraternity might be ready by then🙃
It is bucking bronco not "bunking" it is fine yamie. We all do it
Looking forward to having you ride one of our bikes 👌
You’re really pushing that WEF line, aren’t you? How is mining for cobalt and lithium “sustainable”? How are those electrons accelerated to charge electric vehicles? Are we going to start building nuclear power plants everywhere? Or are they simply going to start limiting how much we can drive? Kind of disappointed in you there, Yams
Nice sales pitch
Why do I get the feeling these bikes are for people who start going into withdrawals if they're not staring at a screen for more than 30 minutes?
Would be awesome to have a fully faired bike that feels ergonomically good no matter where I am.
ok, so my main question is... where do I find these trucks with the hentai dvds?
I've been waiting for this bike to come out for over three years and I'm starting to lose hope. Canceled my preorder.
Yea and If's a ' I ever get the, much appreciated chance to ride a Damon Motorcycle, it will be my High Honor to Fill Anybody Interested , In with my Perceptions of Riding the Hyper-Sport Premiere with the Ohlin/Brembo Kit et al.
Mr. Noob:
Tks.
Most of this sounds like some one reading a press release.
Could you please cover the Ultraviolette F77? It's an electric sports motorcycle, the best in India, but I haven't seen much coverage of it outside of india. I think you'll find it quite interesting.
Then he would have to travel to India to test it. And since it's an Indian bike, only sold in India why would there be any coverage of it outside of India?
@@darkiee69 It will be sold in the US and other markets sometime next year. He covered this bike without testing it, so why not that one?
@@challacustica9049 Probably because no one outside India have ever heard of it. If it makes it to the states he might cover it.
@@darkiee69 Sorry if I didn't word that correctly at the end. I understand that he probably hasn't heard it. I just meant to say that if he can cover this bike without testing it, he could do it for the F77.
I'd be on an e bike but I love my clutch way to much. Clutch ups are orgasmic and with new bikes means more disabled safety sensors.
When someone builds an electric motorcycle that can replace my '99 Goldwing (Honda hasn't even been able to do this), do what it does and do it for less than $4000, I'll buy it.
Until then, electric motorcycles will ALWAYS be an exercise in stupidity.
