Chester's vocal cords are made of steel. To think he did this, singing like that back to back days being on tour...insane. RIP to a legend. I listen to LP when I'm at the gym and it hits different when you're going through a breakup and you can apply some of the lyrics to your own life's situation.
That's one of the biggest reasons why LP were special and so successful. One of the greatest bands ever

What I love about linkin park is that nobody is the star. Obviously Chester stands out, but structurally, the song doesn’t have anyone steal the spotlight. Every member has a chance to shine. There’s no ego, just musicians making the best art they can.

Linkin park is the best rock band in my opinion. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but when I sit down and listen to their songs, and I mean actually listen to the lyrics, I can feel the emotions and the story behind the lyrics. Plus their songs helped me through some tough times!

I miss Chester so much.... I've loved Linkin Park's music since I was a young child in the early 2000s. And as I got older, their music helped me get through heartbreak, abuse, and some of the most loneliest and darkest times of my life.
It really hurts me to know that how Chester's words lifted me and many others up through our dark times, no one could do the same for him. It's been 3 months and it still feels unreal.

I was born in Texas but not in the right time, just 4 years after Hybrid Theory. I would've seen the angel and see him scream like a demon and perform like no other person. Miss the 2000's but got to at least listen his music at such a young age and feel his needs.

No matter how much I would not listen to this song, I don't get bored when I don't
My mom bought me this album when I was 10 and I memorized it front to back on my portable CD player. When I got a little older I realized I was “too cool” for linkin park and moved on. Overheard a coworker talking about how cringe they were at the office today and thought back to my days as a young boy with a skateboard, a gamecube and a copy of Meteora. Decided to listen to it again after all these years and this song blew my mind. Chester was a massive talent and LP captured an energy unique to the era. Call me cringe but this song goes hard af and brings back memories of a time when the world wasn’t so complicated.
I feel you. I feel the same about Nickelback and a few others. There was a time where everyone my age was “too cool” to listen to certain bands and I didn’t want to be looked at as a loser so I pretended not to like the bands (even though I still did lol).

Man ive been playing music for 27 years and knowing all the elements that linkin park has in their music it’s so amazing to me how they sound just as good live as on the record. And all the elements are there. Their just phenomenal players period. We lost a true musical giant losing Chester. Clearly one of the best vocalist of our time. Rip Chester.

@@rodrigodossantos7094 entendi, mas aquela performance de In The End com Chester e Mike cantando o refrão final juntos, a live de High Voltage onde Mike arrebentou no rap e no final a plateia levantou a mão junta ou quando pararam Papercut pra ajudar o fã caido é sem igual, a maioria das pessoas só fala tanto do Live In Texas porque é famoso, sendo que na verdade é apenas uma junção de dois shows da banda e com produção por cima lançado em DVD.
As performances até 2006 eram otimas, mas a partir de 2007 eles decairam terrívelmente nas lives, poluindo as setlists com porcarias do Minutes To Midnight e apenas as musicas mais famosas dos outros albuns, era mais uma performance solo do Chester do que da banda, é ridiculo oque aconteceu naquela epoca, felizmente em 2010 epes melhoraram muito.
É vdd eu assisto esse show sempre acompanho LP desde 2000 mais eu prefiro o Texas mais tudo bem amigo
