I want a demo version of Carolus Rex, the song, released! The original lyrics are interesting!
the pre-release for the song carolus rex has a wayyy different lyrics.. pretty awesome though
Wish they released that version aswell as a bonus track or something. Sounded awesome.
i only know these few line, but from what i hear it is: "all forever, blah blah blah, bring the fire calling all now, I don't know what I know." and i think the blah blah blah could most likely be "my blood starts to get enraged", that's the best i can do.

sadly not, A) it's definitely English lyrics, B) if the Swedish lyrics were exactly translated it wouldn't really match these, and C) the album was written in English first, it wasn't until writing the chorus for Long Live the King where they decided to re-write it in Swedish.

@lfgubrs I'd say it's more or less confirmed that the name refers to Charles XII. They showed a banner revealing the album during one of their shows (their latest I think) and it showed Carolean soldiers and a number of Swedish flags in the background, you can find a picture of it on google. Also the name of their upcoming tour that coincides with the release of "Carolus Rex" is "Swedish Empire" tour. And of course it's awesome, it's Sabaton.
Omg, I can't wait for another 4 months...It's going to be another amazing album! Any chance you guys are coming to Wacken this year?
