Thank you sir for posting this and requesting you to make a video on how to get 'Date of Manufacturing' for discrete & process at the time of confirmation the order
Hey, thanks for the Knowledge I have 2 questions, could you help on this? 1.What if i have 1 planning plant 2 manufacturing plants and I want to split the order between both manufacturing plants. 2. What are configuration to make if i want to GR post at manufacturing plant
Hi, thanks for watching. Point 1: this is not feasible as you can maintain only one plant in the SPK 80 configuration. Point 2: SPK 80 does not allow GR in manf plant. The stock will be posted to planning plant always. For your requirement, the planner should create prod orders in manf plant directly w/o SPK 80.
Thx IK, nice explanation. Question : What if the Production Plant 1100 is in an other Company Code than these of Planning Plant1000, pls (Same SAP ERP Group of Companies) ? 👍
@@SAPwithIK i tried it using a 80 SPK on FG material in prod plant => MRP is correctly transfered from Planning Plant Cie to Production Plant Cie => Planned Order then Production Order nicely created in Production Plant... what should be the step forward and where is the potential lock issue ? Stock Property transfer via Cross-Cie STO ? even with a 70 SPK setup on Raw Material in Prod Plant ? or else ? thx for ur accurated knowledge :)
Glad to hear. For raw materials you can use SPK 70 where the issue plant can be different from production plant but in the same company code. STO is not required instead the consumption can happen directly from the supplying plant upon goods issue/261.
Hi IK Can you please make videos on STO process using the SPK from scratch. I want understand how PP will play roles in this. Also on REM video will be helpful along with RP backflush and MF50
Hi IK, I have a query, in case I want my GR in 1100 only and from there I want to transfer it to some other plant to initiate delivery, how can this be incorporated?
I have a question please Do we need to have same storage location code in both plants? In my case I have diffrerent SLOC code I get error saying sloc x does not exist in production plant.
Hi @SAP with IK we have similar requirement but for the Co product along with Main FG material, so while performing GR we could see Main FG picking Planning plant but co product is not could you plz help what is that we are missing here\. Thankyou.
SPK works only for the main material in the production order. Co-product inventory will be posted to the manf plant which you can transfer to the planning plant.
Hello sir! Can you tell me what to do in a situation where I have a chain of three plants? For example, from plant 1001 material 100 goes to plant 1000, at plant 1000 turns into 200 material, consumed from plant 1000 plant 1100 and turns into 300 material? These will be different specifications? How do I reflect this in cs11?
You should run CS11 for the header material 300 and plant 1100. This explodes the entire structure till material 100. Plant codes shouldn’t be an issue here as it is managed through special procurement keys.
I started watching your videos sir... They are simple, crystal clear. Tq very much
Thank you 😊
If it is possible upload interview preparation videos also ....

Hi IK, thanks for sharing a very informative knowledge. I request you to please make a video on Engineering Change Management with & without release.
Hi.. thanks..i have a doubt..if i want to post GR at manufacturing plant what should be the procedure..
Hello, for that case SPK 80 won’t fit in.
Great, can u also make video on SPK 40
Hey, thanks for the Knowledge

Hi, thx for watching. This will not work in case of different company codes. The configuration for SPK itself will not allow.

Hello sir! What should a BOM look like at a manufacturing plant if the component in the BOM is created at a different plant?
You should use special procurement key 70 in the component.
Hi IK
Can you please make videos on STO process using the SPK from scratch.
I want understand how PP will play roles in this.

Sure will do 👍
Sir, Can u Please upload video on Planning calendar
@SAP with IK : Can this be used if planning and production plant are in different company codes?
Good question. No, this can’t be used for different company codes. The configuration will not be allowed.
Hi IK, I have a query, in case I want my GR in 1100 only and from there I want to transfer it to some other plant to initiate delivery, how can this be incorporated?
This scenario is not useful for your requirement. You should go with the normal production planning process.
Can you please create a video where components will be automatically consume from planning plant.
I have a question please
Do we need to have same storage location code in both plants? In my case I have diffrerent SLOC code I get error saying sloc x does not exist in production plant.
Storage locations need not be the same.
